I had this happen to me once. Was stuck about 500 feet above the map for a while, then fell through the floor. Basically, was still in the game, and could be shot, but was totally useless.

    We all died.

I've noticed that seems to happen when you die/or are supposed to die while bioticlly charging. ie: getting hit mid-charge while your shield is gone and your hp is below the last bar.
When my hp bar is low i stop charging like a loonatic and either press 6 for heal or wait around for the shield to regen a bit. Also, having loads of points in fitness helps, but that glitch is a nasty one :/

It's funny, because I got to lvl 17 without any trouble but now he seems to start going mental with little or no cause. Might just have to bin the whole class until they patch it.

Aside from the one or 2 major bugs like that and not getting equipment you pay for sometimes, the multiplayer's really solid.

I was a bit annoyed at having to play multiplayer to get my war readiness up at first, but now that i've actually played it I think it's mostly brilliant.
Bloody hard aswell, on Silver at any rate, and I haven't even tried Gold yet.

there's some really great tactics for easy gold multiplayer runs. But.. they totally depend on class, weapon, level, and luck to make it easy :D

There's one nice one for engineers with overload aoe
Pick geth and firebase white - get everyone down the lower section inside the building and use the cover at the back and right with 2 people each - one engineer with chainoverloads and around 150% recharge (ie: light weapons)can hold back everything except Geth Primes indefinetly. An exploding drone helps too.

I did this one last night with a couple of yanks for around 5 maps, got the extraction and 70+ k credits each time. The only drawback is when you get the assasination/upload/or the other thing you have to break cover and properly work as a team - be prepared to use loads of medigel and cobras :D
that said, you can be incredibly lucky with it too :)

Cerberus definitely seem the easiest in general but for particular classes, like the engineer and infiltrator, the geth are far easier. Bloody reapers though. I've lost count of the number of times I've been boxed in by a brute and banshee and the banshee picks me up and murders me.

After having mostly crap weapons for ages I lucked out yesterday and got a Revenant. Now my Salarian Engineer is mutilating all and sundry with it. It's a bit heavy though. Even using it as my only weapon I've only got 60% bonus cooldowns.
I was getting by for ages with a Krogan soldier because you don't shoot with him, you just hit people.

Played this most of last night and this morning, just after
    rescuing the Krogan female
now. Fantastic game so far, really cool to see some old faces being slowly re-introduced. And for the first time ever, I resisted the urge to put a fist through Al-Jilalis face :D Not so happy about having Jessica Chobot on my ship though.

I got myself a revenent V and its still massively heavy, inaccurate and sounds so bloody powerful, i like it but i rarely use it, generally i take the phaeston X with me, its very accurate and does decent enough damage with the barrel mod :) and yeah, krogan soldier is brilliant! especially on bronze :D

sure, but because of the new operation i've promoted all my characters, so i'll have to stick with bronze or silver at a push

    giz a shout on sprucelee76

I've either sent a few 100 invites now or none.

You're in game, that probably why it was messing up ( or i did send all those invites).

    Origin needs some improvement.

This, for me, defines more than anything whether you're likely to win or not. Getting that four-button-press goal on Wave 9/10 means you're completely fu*ked, basically. Team gets scattered and killed off, or you get torn apart on the way there, or everyone hangs back and the timer runs out, or some people run for the button and get wiped out because the rest stayed safe (this is what usually happens me...go for the objective people!).

While I'm complaining, I would high-five the developers if they made the following changes to multiplayer:
    - Fix the vanguard power glitch. I have died far too many times because Biotic Charge wouldn't activate for no apparent reason - it's infuriating.
    - Remove insta-kill animations. Make Phantoms, Banshees, Atlases, Primes, Brutes do tons of melee damage if you like, make them incredibly dangerous, but for the love of God take out those stupid animations where you suddenly slide into position for them to perform some sort of inescapable perma-death move. It's happened that I was already running away from a Phantom and my character stopped, slid backwards a few feet and lined himself up for execution. Also, Husk grabs shouldn't be able to interrupt a heavy melee attack - this happens a lot and it is also infuriating.
    - General bug fixes. Getting stuck in terrain, or taking damage for no reason, or firing off a missile which never actually fires...all of these things lead to a very annoying multiplayer experience.

No need to quit a game on account of me but did you get a load as i'd rather know as to not spam people, only once did it seem like an invite was sent.

The Revenant is the Turian Soldier's best friend. Marksman makes it a pretty straight shooter, with an increase to the already great fire rate. You also have a weapon stability stat under Turian Veteran, which helps when not using Marksman too!

So after playing through ME 1 & 2 i have finally cracked open this game, first impression is it looks excellent :).

However, what in the hell did they do to the ship and my office, my model ships all over the place and i found the hamster running under the engine. Some one is going to get fired for this.

Just had a stellar afternoon with my Turian Sentinel following this principle.

Doesn't have marksman but the Revenant was greatly improved and then I came across a Geth Pulse Rifle and can comfortably unload the entire clip dead centre on a target's face.

Incidentally, I think the Turian Sentinel is awesome. Murders Geth with Overload and everything else with Warp while all the while being nigh on impenetrable with the Tech Armour.

One odd things i've noticed is people using more than one weapon. It just seems like a waste of space. My Geth Rifle is enough and it gives me +200% recharge so I can really mangle people with my powers.

Even for Sniper rifles and Shotguns you can get the extra ammo mod. I've literally never run out of ammo with any weapon.

    Got my 2 promotions in.

Solider with the krogan i was playing with for ages and beat the last operation with and a Adapt, am i the only one who thinks humans adapts are better than Asari.

I'd imagine the singularity/warp combo is better than stasis/warp.

Does warp still detonate singularities in ME3?

Ya even on my 2nd playthrough, the levels are still so epic.

I'm going to stick this up here, just in case anyone is looking for an Asari Adept build. It's been extremely effective for me so far on Gold, taking out Brutes in almost two hits, making Banshees a little less intimidating and delaying a Phantom's hand cannon onslaught.
    Asari Adept
    Powers:
Stasis - Rank 6 (Rank 4 - Stasis Strength, Rank 5 -Bonus Power, Rank 6 - Stasis Bubble)
    Warp - Rank 6 (Rank 4 -Detonate, Rank 5 - Expose, Rank 6 - Pierce)
    Throw - Rank 6 (Rank 4 - Radius, Rank 5 - Detonate, Rank 6 - Force & Damage)
    Asari Justicar - Rank 6 (Rank 4 - Damage & Capacity, Rank 5 - Power Damage, Rank 6 - Pistols)
    Fitness - Discount

    Weapons:
Carnifex - High-caliber barrel, Magazine upgrade.
    Power Recharge Speed: 196%

    Tactics:
Your main weapon with this class is the Warp-Throw biotic combo. It devastates nearly everything, and has huge splash damage. It's weakened against shields and barriers, but should still take it down by 1-2 bars with each hit.

In between recharge times, you should be shooting with the Carnifex, to deal as much damage as possible without wasting time.

Stasis is important for close range swarms of enemies and Guardians, Phantoms and Geth Hunters. The Bonus Power perk is handy, because sometimes you'll get a chance to fire Throw/Warp straight after you get the stasis out, which is great for phantoms in particular.

Phantoms will most likely be your toughest enemy, as it can dodge your warp/throw combo very easily, and can absorb warp from time to time. Main tactics for a Phantom would be to:
    1. Use Stasis to freeze them.
    2. Use Warp to create a biotic combo, and also weaken it against your Carnifex.
    3. Use Warp again while it is immobilised on the ground. This could kill it. But if it doesn't...
    4. Follow up with Throw to finish them off.
They'll become immune to Stasis after one or two attempts, so make it count when you manage to freeze them.

Note: If anyone uses a Tech power on your target after it has been warped, it will stop your biotic combo and cause a Tech Burst, which is significantly weaker against enemies.

While extremely effective, an Asari's dodge will decrease its barriers, so don't go too mad jumping around

Krogan sentinel with a shotgun and blade attachment is hard to beat, just headbutt everything in sight.

    Woudl anyone know:

I haven't played for about a week and a half. I'm at the very final part of the game, past the point of no return. My galactic readiness is obviously back to 50%. Even at this point in the game do I need to get the assets back up above 5k for the good ending? I don't really want to if I don't have to. I had 5k+ assets when I began the bit of the game on:
    Earth
    .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,768 ✭✭✭✭degrassinoel

should be fine Dan, your score wont decrease or decay over time like the galactic readiness rating does. If the posts in teh spoiler topic are right you only need 4k to see/do what you need to at the end.

Edit: thats not completely true, some decisions can decrease your score but if you're at where you say you are, thats pretty much the end.

For anyone else worrying about decreasing readiness, just get it up high and then sign out of psn before starting up the game. Playing offline stops the readiness decreasing.

Was just going to ask about this! Is mp the only way to improve the galactic readiness? I have the iPhone Datapad app but I can't figure out if it actually does anything or if I'm wasting my time.

Just bought it today and it won't find my ME2 character and I've no longer got a copy of ME2 to fix the saves so it will. :(

Wait for a patch or abandon all my custom character/decisions etc.?
