    french toast, pancakes, fruit etc

and/or cake & cookies, of course :pac:

mmmm I love pancakes but they hate me when I make them. And last time I made french toast the OH accused me of trying to give him diabeties :/ Might have used tablespoons instead of teaspoons for vanilla extract and dropped them into the sugar...
Yeah screw it, cake and cookies it is. If I make bacon brownies they'll be kinda like a breakfast.

Could be, it's been a good day.

Lots of good reviews on something I wrote (which I thought was average at best) and then I got to my WW goal with a bit to spare. :)

That and the torrent of Doctor Who news.

I think my face ache is actually a forward facing headache though.
    Woohoo well done you :D

    *high five*

Thanks for the recipe, I have one from Yummly that I use. It's pretty identical, actually.

Sar Bear, aren't they great? I feel like just pulling some schmuck off the street to marry him to get that bouquet.

the end of season 2 was brilliant, was wondering where the thing with
the pink teddy in the pool and the guys cleaning up the place was going all season
and just on the part now where
Hank beats the crap out of Jesse
    .

I keep missing out on shows on their initial runs as I hate watching stuff weekly, prefer to wait to have everything downloaded and just fly through them at my own pace, I watched all over Game of Thrones over 3 days, its gonna be torture waiting a week to see each episode :(

Did you have your coffee date?

Yes. It was meh. We ended up going to the cinema instead, which I think makes for a rubbish first date, but he suggested it and I didn't want to shoot him down. Didn't even go for a coffee afterward; he walked me straight to my car, gave me a hug and said "You can pick the next film."

He's either painfully shy or completely uninterested, kind of amounts to the same thing either way.

    Lol, someone mentioned
    the Tenerife air disaster
recently and I had to bite my tongue not to laugh, all I could think of was
Walt's "you know, this is only like the 8th worst air disaster. And, you know, people move on. It's really not that bad when you think about it, planes weren't even full" speech.

Though the cinema doesn't really work. You come away from the date not even knowing the person any better!
Have to agree with this. Cinema's grand once you have got to know someone, but for a first date you really need somewhere you can talk.

ha yeah that was a funny scene, its great how Walt goes from being likeable to an absolute prick in some episodes, like when
he sees Jesses girlfriend overdosing and just lets her choke on her own vomit as if shes not around they're in the clear
    , great character writing.

Its so darkly funny as well, like the bathtub scene in the first season, or the turtle :pac:

I did before we met, if that makes any sense? I'm not so sure now. If he's not interested, then there's no point. If he's just being young and shy, well, I'm sorry, but I'm not looking for a project, I really couldn't be bothered trying to coax someone out of their shell for weeks and weeks and weeks.

I think something may be horribly wrong with my laptop.
Frantically backing up everything on memory sticks before I investigate.

I have no money for a new laptop and spent €120 last month on downloading Microsoft office for it. Balls. :(:(

cinema is the worst first date place, unless you get an early coffee in and get to chat for a couple of hours beforehand and afterwards, otherwise its just sitting in the dark not talking for 2 hrs

I hear ya. Would you try one more date and see if he's any chattier/fun?

Don't like cinema as a first date, it's just basically sitting awkwardly for 2 hours in the dark barely getting to know each other. But it is a "safe" option.

:D Made home made falafel and home made guacamole tonight :D

    Exactly!

Coffee or drinks is far better, or seeing as how I'm a big softy sap, a nice walk!
    Don't you mean a nice waddle :D

could just be nerves too, some people either talk a lot less or a lot more when they're nervous

What's wrong with it? My boyfriend works in I.T, he's here beside me now so if you PM me the problems your having with it, I'll show it to him if you want.

Had a Chinese for dinner and am hungry again ffs. Not even finished eating an hour ago. Although I had very little to eat.

Sitting here yawning now, but I want food. And drink.

On Breaking Bad? Gave up? Season 2?

    :eek::eek:

I've seen seasons 1 & 2. It has to be one of the best shows I've ever watched. My all-time favourite show is the West Wing and I have to say Breaking Bad isn't far off rivaling that. It's fantastic.
