have any of you seen the multigrain crackers in aldi???

they are small enough, kinda water biscuit size but a lot more substantial... I saw them yesterday while shopping and pointed them in the aisle... i worked it out at 3 for 1pp.... (0.6pp per cracker) had some last night with my staple... LOW LOW cheese spread with black pepper... OMG ... sooo nice!

Im a bit under the weather today. Got my gruaige done this morning... its given me a bit of a boost, but again i got home my head was pounding, so no walk... i have been in bed ever since... its definitely going to be a Wii Fit and dance work out evening... have to do something... have done really little since WI on wednesday night... foodwise i haven't been too bad, but exercise? Whats that???

I have sworn to myself i am going to get up after the rugby!!! ha!

Had my meal out last night and it was delicious! Even managed to fit in a few drinks and still have 20 weeklies left.
The soup was celeriac and fennel, and I aske it if had cream in it. No cream or potato so a pretty sinless starter. Only had half the bowl and a very small piece of bread with it. Counted it as 5pp. Ended up going for tempura monkfish with noodles and hot and sour broth. The portion size was small but just enough food. Didn't eat all the batter but I'd say at most it was 15pp. 2scoops of ice cream for dessert, 10pp for that. The eatin out book has 3 scoops in most places as 14-16 so think 10 is ok. Half a bottle of white, and 2 shots of spirits. Altogether great night. Food was lovely in the place, would def recommend it.

Dinner in the OHs house, venison sausages and mash. Have 21 pp left think the sausages are 4 or 5 each do just gonna have a small bit of the mash!

Feeling good so hoping for a good loss this week! Hope you're all having a good weekend!

Just pointed the hodgkins low fat sausages it pointed as 3pps for 100g I weighted then and 3 is just a little under 100g, that means 1pp per sausage!! This has to b 2 good to b true???

Hi, I've been lurking here since I rejoined WW for the 5th!!!!!!! time, anyway RachaelFergie that's what I've pointed the hodgkins low fat sausages as.They're a bit bland though, I did email them to see if they had any plans to make a low fat version of their garlic and herb sausage, but they said no:(
I've heard the WW sausages are lovely but I have never seen them stocked anywhere in Galway, and I'm not a huge fan of the Denny chicken sausages. I really think sausage makers are missing a trick, the one thing I really miss is full fat sausages.

Does anyone know which are the lowest brand of frozen oven chips?
Hi everyone- I'm new here- have come across the thread a few times since I joined ww in early jan- usually when I've used google to find out how many pp in different foods.
McCain rustic oven chips are the best I've come across. 200g is 6 pp. It's not a bad sized portion- at least for a weight watcher!

    Hi folks...

Just found a steal!!! They sell these diet yogurts in my canteen and was always wary of getting them because they are so creamy, even thought they are diet.... Just pointed them... 1pp!!!!!

    1 for 1pp!!! 2 for 2pp and 3 for 4pp.... :D

Oooo Ali, don't kill me! Sometimes I feel like an annoying know it all (far from it ) but I've been caught on so many things! I think you should double check the pp on these. There 1pp at 100g but the pots are 125g each which makes them 2pp each. Still really good pp value though and they are sooper tasty. I'd just hate if you were having them and thinking they were less. I did that once with the Knorr Pasta pack things. Pointd them at what I thought was 6 when they were like 14 or 16  I double/triple check everything new I use......

Peeps , I was SO bold this evening! Awful bold! Went for, what was planned as 2 drinks this evening after work to watch the 2nd half of the rugby, that turned in to about 6 pints of Guinness! Passed Supermacs on walk home.... got that awful longing, so went in and ordered regular Taco Fries (my fave!) ..... But when the smell caught me I collared the girl that took my order and I told her 'make that a large'.... So I got the large and I have to say they were AMAZING! Will have nightmares about how many PP's I threw out the window tonight :mad:
But still, my first major breakout since I started on 3rd January.... Gonna be SUPER good til WI on Wednesday!

Had you used any of your weeklies? How many pp did you have left for the day? Damage might not have been as bad as you think...supermacs have the nutritional info on their site if you wanna know where you stand and what you have used up.

A breakout every now and then is allowed and sometimes needed. Sure we are only human! And as long as you enjoyed it then dont worry!

tiny - I don't know tbh! I'm using this thread as my WW - not going to classes or not on-line so THIS is my class! A friend of mine that joined WW and left gave me her literature, so I am using that as a basis for PP's etc.... Trying to stick as best as I can , down 24 lbs since I started, so am glad of that! :)
But yes, that takeaway tonight was definitely enjoyable! :D

Would you try some extra exercise? I find that even a little extra in a week makes a huge difference. That might work back the points you used?

Hey guys sitting here crying - of course I had to go and weigh myself in boots cos I was convinced that I had lost a few pounds over the last 2 weeks but didn't lose a single solitary pound. I'm finding it more difficult to lose than when I did it before.

    Really down now :-(

Ah leahy.... don't be down.... all scales are different...

have you been stickin to your points and all...

Everyone here will tell you about the bad week, two weeks, even bad months.... do you do WW at home or at a class???

All scales are different. Don't be too worried about it!
I thought I'd give you a laugh though, and tell you that ive been wondering why anyone would weigh themselves with their boots on. I was like "of course she was too pounds heavier- boots weigh loads"! It was only when I read on, and saw that someone else weighed themselves "in there" that I realised it was boots the place. Not boots the footwear!

I'm a demon for noodles, but just cant justify the points (16pp for a pack of koka noodles) so I usually check the nutritional value on as many packs as I come across.

I was converted to the straight to wok ones (6pp for half the packet), but have kind of gotten a bit sick of them. Well I finally found some even better value noodles :D

In the Chinese shop, they have these noodles stocked with the soups (I go to the one in Dublin at the back of the Jervis). They don't have a name on them, but they're in a packed with two bunches of straight noodles and two sachets of flavoring. Half a packet is 7pp and its a massive portion (80g). They are gorgeous I have to say.

Well done everyone on the losses this week, everyone seems to be doing great. I had a good week myself. I was down 4lbs. I was chuffed with myself. I'm 7.5lbs away from the first ww goal (10 10) and 17.5lbs from my own personal goal. It still seems like a huge number still to go, but I have 31lbs gone (never to be back!!) so I think I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel

Any chance you could post a pic of the packet of those noodles?

Well done on how far you've come. 10'10 is my first big goal and 10st in my final goal too! I'm much further away but getting there!

The phone is on the blink, but here's a link to a page that has pictures of them. Its not the rice noodles ones its the proper noodles, but this is the pack they're in and they look the same.

Just home from my night out all my weeklies used and a longing for a 4 in 1!! Hehe had chicken wings, lil bit of garlic bread, a baked potato the meat and veg only from steak fajitas no wrap, cheese or sour cream was happy enough.. 2 vodkas 3 pints of guiness and 2 captain Morgans my guess was wipe out the weeklies had loads of dailies left yesterday... Now to control the hang over cravings and be an angel tomorrow ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 122 ✭✭JudyD

Had such fun at the hen and didn't worry too much about points - it was so nice to have a break away and a night out!!

Did the calculations this eve though and figure I used all my weeklies plus dailies yesterday and possibly went 3-5 points over but sure its not the end of the world. And the big plus I was sooo proud of is I resisted the full Irish and a fabulous tempting chocolate cake and stayed within my dailies today!! :D

So my plan is to be a model weightwatcher between now and WI on tuesday - I only need to drop a 1/2 lb and I'll be in the 14's so fingers crossed*

Having had an okay week, not great exercise wise (for no reason only my own laziness!) I am willing and wishing and hoping and praying I lose the half pound to get to my first stone!

Good luck to everyone for the coming weeks

Made plain ww scones today, 2pp each and absolutely delish! Also have a new found love for those pink & white marshmallow wafers, stick em under the grill for half a minute to get the mallow nice and gooey, really good for a sweet craving at only 1pp each!

Had my WW@Home WI this morning, down another 2lbs. Very happy with myself. Have decided to get myself the new iPad when I get to goal. 20.5lbs gone, 18 to go!!!

Well ladies (and gents - you are very quiet out there! :) ) I have 3 days to WI and a sneaky look at the scales has me down 3lbs.... :D Its good on the one hand but I was so sick over the weekend I know I didn't eat all my pp for yesterday. I had a muffin with cheese for breakfast yesterday and had boiled ham and croquettes and roasties yesterday, homemade parsley sauce and veg... but I had nothing else then, just really couldn't face eating at all. I guess I'm at least 7 short for yesterday.

I'm feeling much better this morning and I'm hoping to stick to the programme properly between now and Wednesday evenings WI...

The one thing I am happy about though is that I am only a few lbs off 10st 13.5lb which was the lowest I ever got to on WW back in 2010... Only thought of that over the weekend.... In a few weeks time I will better that! Its mad, because in 2010 it took me from the first week in February to the end of June to do this well as I just wasn't committed enough. I really enjoy the Pro Points system, its soooo much more sustainable than the old system, for me anyway... and its definitely working...

    11st 5lb.... have 26.5lb to goal.... :D
