I've decided to treat myself to a takeaway tonight, I'm between Thai or Eddie Rockets, now I know Thai would probably be the better option health-wise but Eddies is more easily pointed. What ya'll think?

Skinny Doll has chinese takeaways pointed which some of the dishes would be similar to thai dishes. For example, chicken and cashew nuts is 9PP. Then extra for your rice and you should always weigh your rice (if at home) to make sure of the points, 200g cooked rice is 8PP. Also, as with all takeaways, sizes differ, so use common sense when pointing too :)

Anyone else think we should have a mens ww section here on boards? I find this thread mostly dominated by women and I think us men are being isolated here? I just find mens ww issues should be separate would be more relevant to me I feel?

I was thinking that the other day, there used to be a lot more men posting but not so much lately! I would ask the mods! Jump in more here though! :)

I only use the 1pp yoghurts.
I ADORE the ww dessert flavoured yoghurts. Like i actually look forward to them. Having the strawberry tart in a bit with fruit salad. NOMNOM!!

Had steak there with tonnes of veggies (8propoints).
I had two veg spring rolls for starters with chilli sauce (5ppoints)and salad.
Feel so well fed and all for 14 ppoints.

Tomorrow is a girlie night in so dodgy territory. Weeklies will deplete with booze and will keep 12 ppoints for nibbles. Hopefully there'll be good options to choose from.
I ran today and will walk tomorr so I feel I can enjoy it.

It's Sunday that will challenge as the cravings hit. Hopefully it will be okay.
    Enjoy the weekend all.

Hey guys sitting here crying - of course I had to go and weigh myself in boots cos I was convinced that I had lost a few pounds over the last 2 weeks but didn't lose a single solitary pound. I'm finding it more difficult to lose than when I did it before.

    Really down now :-(

I do it at home - like I only have about a half stone to 10 pounds to lose so it shouldn't be that hard should it? I'm sticking to the points every day and exercising (spinning, gym, walking). I'm only doing WW officially since Mon but ive been watching what I eat for about 2 weeks.

Are you tracking? I have a friend in WW (she only started 2 weeks ago) and she hasn't tracked yet. The first week she put up 1.5lb and the second week she STS. She thought she was eating well and making good choices the majority of the time but it just shows that you really need to track religiously. Failing that, perhaps mix up your exercise routine and the foods you are eating or try eating more or less weeklies :)

Yep I've been tracking religiously - I have a big hardcover A4 copybook!! Ah well sure I guess I'll just have to keep at it. I still have 38 weeklies left - 6 of which I just used there on a ham sandwich so still have a lot of weeklies left.

I just read there that when you start exercising and dieting that you can retain water at first? Something to do with the muscle?! I don't understand these things - it's prob rubbish!

Can't stop eating tonight. Dunno what's wrong with me. Had a homemade chicken curry, about 6 rice cakes with choc philly, crisps and a ww bar. Worst thing is I'm not even hungry. Just want to eat for the sake of eating. Disappointed in myself now :-(

Don't be disappointed! The downwards spiral will continue if you dwell on it and keep making yourself guilty. We all make mistakes. Draw a line under and start again tomorrow. Tell yourself you will be better tomorrow and plan what nice healthy brunch/dinner you are going to have and what exercise you are going to do :)

Had a lovely dinner tonight, felt like a proper takeaway. Had a WW pizza and 125g (frozen weight) of Green Isle mexican spicy wedges (5PP)... nom nom nom!! Whole thing was 18PP, seems like a lot but I didn't mind because it stopped me from getting a takeaway. Had a 50g packet of jellies too :) YUM! Took them out of my weeklies. Still feeling really crap and sick so I said I would treat myself tonight seeing as I won't have my few drinks this weekend :)

Are you keeping track of the amount of activity pp you are earning? try using the same amount of weeklies as you earn in activity pp.... it might work for you... it worked for me. I wasn't touching my weeklies at first and although i was losing for the first few weeks, it all came to a halt... staying the same and struggling to lose 0.5lb...

Just remember this is a long process... I thought i would be losing 3 or 4lb every week and hit my goal in no time, but its not that kinda programme. The general weight loss is around 1 or 2lb a week which is a lot more sustainable in the long run...

Definitely keep at it, especially as you have your goal in sight. you won't know yourself..... :D

Well TOTM appeared today which, on the one hand, is great coz it gives me a good few days to get some decent loss for next weeks WI. Only problem is i amn't craving dinners as such.... its all bread and cheese and those WW choco orange biscuit packets....

getting my hair done again tomorrow... cut was last week and they managed to talk me into getting my colour done tomorrow! haha!

Lookin forward to getting moving again tomorrow as well.... i couldn't get up off my backside today... i was working late and then went and did my shopping so i was wrecked when i got in...

Its park for a jog and then the dance work out with my little one... actually looking forward to it.... sooooo strange for me!

I would imagine it is a lot higher then that. I think you would have to take into account that the Sausage is double if not triple the size of a regular Sausage and you can bet that a chippy doesn't use anything like reduced fat Sausages!!! Then there's the batter and the deep frying part.......

My greatest downfall is the Chinese - i could eat spring rolls until they came out my ears and saying to myself that they're made of veg 'mostly' doesn't really count!

Had 2 go 2 a removal last nyt n went bac 2 the house after...I was literally force fed tonnes of 'hang sangwiges' slices of cake n GALLONS of tea!!!
Just back from spinning this morn tho and having a F&H weekend again so hopefully I can counter act some of the damage done!!!

There seems 2 b a fair lot of jus struggling @ the month and I read a gud quote the other day that might help us draw the line and start afresh....forget the past, no1 became sucessful in the past!!!
hope every1 has a great weekend!!!

Try the Dunnes veg spring rolls. They're in their fridge section. I eat soooooo many of these. I always buy loads and have some in the freezer and a stock of them fresh in my fridge. They cook in a few minutes and are only 2pp per roll. Even if you eat 4 you'd be saving so much in comparison to the deep fried chinese ones. So nice to have 2 before dinner for 4pp. ( i do this alot with salad for two courses:)) I think they have duck and chicken ones for the same points but i'm not into them.

Since I started on these I can no longer stomach the deep fried ones as I love the oven cooked consistency and you realise how much oil these bad boys actually soak up when deep fired.
Just try em with some sweet chilli sauce. NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!

Thanks Kelly, today is defo a new day. Didn't get out of bed until late so am gonna have a boiled egg on toast and cereal for brunch.

I was the same last nite, wasn't hungry was just eating because I wanted to eat and it wasn't even out of boredom

Does anybody else find you don't feel as hungry at weekends because you get up later? I can easily stay within my points on sat and sun compared to weekdays mainly because I don't have to get up at stupid o clock :-)

Went to Super Value to get ingredients for tonight's dinner (Enchilada's) And I came across these wholewheat wraps, so being extra good this week I decided to get them, in place of normal white wraps!

I got home and started to calculate the points in each wrap! I was GOBSMACKED (to say the least) when I ended up with 6pp per wrap!

I was planning on having 2 enchiladas and a heap of salad veggies!

Now i'm thinking of just cutting one in half and making 2 that way, rather than use 12pp for 2 wraps!!!!

The multi-seeded ones from tesco are 4pp - great value and lovely :)
