    Sounds like an S-video cable?

I'm not 100% sure, but I've seen S-video cables with extra wires which look like composite ones.

Originally I thought the extra wires were audio jacks, but maybe they carry composite? (just to give you the option of using either the DIN connector or composite cables dependant on your tv)

There doesn't seem to be any S-Video on there
They don't fit in composite either
Couldn't find any pics of them on the net, but will try again now

Yeah I stupidly left it at the office today and cannot find a single picture of it on the net, even on youtube.

Another thing, do these look broken to you cap' experts out there?
I know it's terribly poor quality but that's the best my phone could do (my camera was worse); they're basically black around the connector but I assumed the PLA chip on the C64 is burned out

Really think I'll invest in a US Snes, likely a SNES 2/Junior. The carts are so much cheaper, & with most sellers offering combined postage, I think there's savings to be made.

    Yikes.

The original Deadly Premonition, Rainy Woods:

It's pretty much identical, bar a (wise) reimagining of the main character and replacing the 'old men' Twin Peaks rip-off with creepy little girls.

Is there not a reason to avoid the Jr? I don't think it does RGB.

It can be modded though. I think.

The original looks better as well. So two reasons to go for it.

I actually too like the original, in an oddity kind of way. Nah won't bother getting a Junior then have to go to the hassle of modding it. If I'm paying the delivery, I may as well get a normal one & not have to mod it

It's the squareness of it. Like the cars and transformers of the 80's. Looking at getting one myself as well. Just waiting on a cheap one in good condition.

After having a decent blast on the Mastersystem 2 there. I'm only noticing now how little of the screen is game screen, the borders are massive! Time to 60hz that bad boy.

Also the soundtrack to R-Type on the Mastersystem is horrific.

Played Aladdin on the SNES afterwards, now that's got a a soundtrack

If anyone's near Greenmount Ind Est, Harolds Cross, D12 could they pick up a freebie of fabric scraps for me?

For some reason I've had Avatars and signatures disabled in my account settings for ages,

You'd be surprised how prettier the boards looks with them switched on!

Modded MD 1 + powerbase converter is pretty handy for playing Mastersystem games nice and fast and fullscreen btw.
in unrelated news..Theres a SID player for andriod!
    I never knew!

And it works with the Hi Voltage Sid pack!
    Even Better!

So for less than 100 mbs you can carry nearly every major c64 tune ..(and about 6 german techno covers of it )on your phone!
    WIN!

Now, I have the 21" Philips installed, on it's side, in the gamesroom.
Now, when I say "installed" it's balancing there, with the rear of the tube against the wall, waiting for the first breeze to knock it to the floor...
How on earth do I go about securing it?
I can't leave it like that or She Who Must Be Obeyed will have a fit!

Oh, XIIStag looks the business on it, as does Raiden III, which is nice!
