Has anyone a link for proof of this?

If you go to motortax.ie, you'll find the form to tax your car and it has a section that allows you to specify when the new owner got the car. He or she is not liable for the arrears before the start of the month they bought the car.

It's 100% correct, perusal of the tax site should clarify if you require such proof ;)

NCT 09/12, everything works, needs new tyres

€500 cash would probably take it...

She's already been posted a few pages back Unkel, but a serious amount of car for the money regardless.

Damn that is a nice motor, tax is worth about €450 too. I'd say you would get it for €1k which certainly makes it a bargain. Has that same fabulous beige leather interior that is proper leather not that crap you get from BMW and Audi. Great find dgt, wish I could buy that...:)

Great little yoke for getting around town though, low tax, low insurance, low fuel costs. T'would suit anyone! Maybe not Enda Kenny tho?

Well spotted! Slower even than the 1.1l petrol and fuel consumption is nothing to write home about...

"failed NCT for Electrics (Reverse Lamps, REG Lamps, Brake Pads need replacing, problem with gearbox, not staying reverse)"

The lamps are dodgy earths, pads are an hours work and who cares if it jumps outta reverse (common problem with these)

If I had the time, space and spare cash, let me tell you that there's no doubt a call would have been made and a little under 500 quid spent. I'm telling you guys, someone has gotta buy this. Its a no brainer. Its worth treble broken.

Nah its nothing to worry about at all. They all do it, mine does it for years now. Its when they start jumping out of every gear you need to worry ;):p
