High probability they were utd fans, they were hardly liverpool fans now were they.

Alan stated that they were Utd fans. I'm just seeking the source of these claims. As this claim and other claims made are questioning his credibility

It is being based on probability, just like this whole case is being based on probability. If you can not accept this i presume you also have problems with the FA's desicion on the suarez verdict.

Credibility ! Please, that went along time ago.

It's funny how some Liverpool fans are now trying to shift discussions from the original topic to completely differant instances/events. Maybe not so much funny as it is pathetic. It also mirrors how their club consistently tried to change the story of events throughout this whole affair.

It's quite desperate and only makes their defence of their club all the more sad really. I'm not really sure that there is much more that can be debated on this topic as I fear some Liverpool fans are going to start referring to jfks shooting or conspiracys in the sep11 bombings to prove some ridiculous point that has zero tondo with focusing on the 115 page report, more about trying to get into stupid discussions that takes the focus off what information is actually available.

Man united and sir Alex have not always done things right or in the spirit of the game but that has nothing to do with this case nor does it prove on some warped way that lfc have done everything in a normal respectable manner. The evidence oitlined and independent comission basically makes it very clear that little lfc did and their staff shows that they can or should be trusted in this case. The more Liverpool fans ignore the report in favour of the "technically the report was just a guessing exercise" excuse , the more thy will just look completely delusional to their clubs lack of class in this case.

As already mentioned Alan stated that they were Utd fans. He did not say "based on probability"

No really answering my wuestion, but anyway...

In relation to the Suarez incident he admitted to using the Negro word. ( which is being debated at length in here ).

When I asked Alan for a source were he claims that Utd fans had complained to the police he then mentioned the Finnian incident, making no reference to the Suarez incident whatsoever.

When I asked Alan to provide ( to backup his claims that Utd fans had complained to the police about the Finnian incident ) he supplied a link that gave no evidence and indeed backed up my viewpoint.

Still waiting in Al answer my two questions.

Fully agree. I think the one thing this whole exercise has done is complete eradicate any bit of respect any other fans had for liverpool. They have become a laughing stock and shown to be completely classless. Kenny has just made a complete and utter fool of himself and the club.

    Game over, the ball's burst.

It seriously is time for this thread to be moved on.

So, John Terry eh?? He did something bad right? Apparently?

Because he'd definitely guilty, but won't get the ban because he's the FA's love child and England captain...

He has been charged by the police, and quite rightly so from what I've seen and believe to be racist language. That is in a completely different light to Suarez.

Both are sickening, however Terry's, because it was caught so clearly on camera is much much worse, IMO. If found guilty, I hope the book is thrown at him and hard.

Wouldn't say he's definitely guilty, I think his defense has merit.

For a man that's supposed to be media savvy, King Kenny is coming out of this one looking like a complete goon.

What a sickening post. What the hell has gone wrong with this forum?
Post deleted. It was intended as reply to K-9's post asking what I meant by people taking accountability for their actions. There was no offence intended to anybody and if I have done I apologise for it.

It really was one of the lowest posts in this thread.

Using the deaths of the Juventus supporters at Heysel, the deaths of the Liverpool supporters at Hillsborough as part of an arguement over Evra deserving an apology.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel does not come close to describing it. But I guess it is ok because it was deleted by the poster and the poster said sorry

    Scummy post.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of these type of posts over the last few weeks but on the bright side it brings out peoples true colours and so you know where you stand with a particular poster and the true agenda.

Tbh i've been shocked by the amount of hatred on these boards towards the club and the depths people will sink for a cheap shot. Really unfortunate stuff.

How? It's absolutely embarrassing. It's an absolute PR disaster for the club and it's not helped by Dalglish. It's an utter mess and his advisors need to tell him to pipe down because at the moment the club has no credibility at the moment.

From the statement on the official site to the embarrassing t-shirts, it's a mess and he needs to put his hands up and admit that he got it wrong.

If there's more to it like Dalglish thinks there is, then let it come out through the proper channels. He needs to shut his mouth because he could end up looking like a complete fool by the end of it.

Why would kenny give a **** about what anybody outside LFC think about him.

i wonder if some sponsors start pulling association with the club, will dalglish backdown and apologise?

i am baffled as to how he can say "you dont know the full facts", yet then the club chooses not to appeal?

really defies logic. he has a lot to answer for, he really is bringing down the image of the club, he should have stayed retired. his views on the game are outdated and he is just going to keep digging himself into a hole until finally the panny will drop on the owners that he is harming the club.

I wonder would this have all blown over if evra had realised that Suarez did not call him a n*****r. Would he have gone to the ref.

    Wow.

You need to take off the blinkers and realise that Kenny is far from perfect. He's a walking PR disaster for the club at the moment.

very well placed timing. things change very quickly in business. Liverpool and Dalglish are tarnishing the good name of not only their club, but English football in general.

this could all have went away if he just apoligised, but he was too stubborn to do it and now the clubs reputation is in tatters.

dalglish will be remember as the clown who wore tshirts and spurted silly things to the media, not for the great player and manager he was 20 years ago.

if you think that the people who pump money into the club, are happy with this, you seriously are out of your tree.

He will for a few months, and then this will all be forgotten about by May. He'll still be remembered as a great player and manager who probably shouldn't have tried it again at Liverpool and left his legacy in tact.
