Finner Camp reporting a Dp temp of 0.1c on 2pm reports though remaining at a fairly constant 2.0c along the west coast.

Can happily report a light rain shower here in the last 15 mins.

Oddly dry here in west Donegal, not had a single shower of any note since I got up at 11am.

The lying snow line on Mt Errigal is at a guess around 400m though so hopefully that'll drop as the night goes on. Seems to have a good covering already

I'm miles from Errigal and only got my rather terrible phone camera on me at the moment but I'll take a quick pic and see how it comes out then

Heavy hail and sleet here in Craughwell now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,548 ✭✭✭Harps

Pic didn't come out at all, Errigal's too far away so you can barely make it out when its zoomed in so far.

Heavy hail/sleet here at sea level now as well, got very dark and stormy and the place turned temporarily white for a few minutes

    You can't.

Although, http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ has a subscription service (5 euro a month I think) for a colour coded precip chart

As expected for the past few days, the bulk of showers will be affect Donegal, Fermanagh, Sligo, Mayo, Derry and western Munster. Anywhere above 150-200 metres in the NW is likely to see a light covering by morning rush hour tomorrow.

Ok, forgot about that one. Wasn't it Glenn Frey who said it?
A cold day in hell before we get back together.
I was thinking more about what my wife said when I asked her for some nookie.
