I couldnt find a game last night , but also I couldnt recieve and messages or invites for some reason , maybe a good idea would be to reset router ?

assassin and blind eye I'm coming across alot ...hiding in corners.

Tbh Assasin is the best second perk of the game. I have it on most of my perk mainly because anyone can bring up a UAV now no need for a 3 killstreak or 4 anymore. Planting the bomb or bringing down air support gives you points too.

Reason why I suse it is because I hate being caught by motion sensors as well as being caught by a UAV when I have rushed to their spawn when trying to flank the whole team... not easy on search! Also I always play solo so even harder when you are playing against an organized team...

edit: support streaks make the game dire? Not the cluster fûck maps, lag, match making, over powered guns, underpowered guns, poxy assassin etc...?

Assassin is only over-used because of support streaks. People use it because there are UAVs being called in every 5 seconds. Its a joke. Bring me back to R:FoM any day, everyone spawning with the same weapon, no perks, if somebody killed you it was because they outshot you or flanked you. None of this crap of giving bad players kills for nothing.

I swear its their goal for everyone on the game to have a 1kd and 1wl from this crap.

Arse! What about Ghost in BLOPs? It was widely used and there were no support streaks, now they've managed to make it even more powerful with it blocking CUAVs and EMPs

anyway th point is, support streaks are good and promote people capping points, taking down air support, planting bombs etc.

You always seem to be bitching, If you're as good at the Game as you are at bitching surely the Support Streaks shouldn't bother you?

Sold Black Ops in January so probably wasn't a big issue by that stage so can't comment on that.
@bold:That has nothing to do with support streaks? That itself was a good idea and is implemented into the 'strike package' well, but people getting a UAV for capping home flag at the start of the game. Then going 3-3 is a bit ridiculous.

@ guy above: Its the bitching thread, if you click to read it what the **** do you expect? Jog on.

Assassin is a good perk , especially against baby monitors .
My gripe is assassin and blind eye and hiding in a corner . Example a guy on ffa yesterday with that combo went 4-1 for a whole game , in the next game 3-0 . Now he was on his second prestige . I dont get where the enjoyment is in hiding in a corner for 10 mins not wanting to be found and hoping to pick up 3/4 kills a game .

The private game mode options - Jauggernaut, Drop Zone, Infected and even two from BLOPS (One in the chamber, Gun game) are not available to play on the public servers?

    WTF? Totally pointless.

    Damn right!!

I usually play support streaks and as a result I find myself playing alot more recklessly.. I always have always will be a run and gunner but when I play support I just seem to do alot more careless, headless chicken style of play coz I know i'll end up getting the UAV/CUAV anyway!

I like the point streak idea for capping/planting/diffusing etc but the fact support streaks dont reset is just silly..

Numpty Assassin/blind eye, baby-monitoring, corner camping gimps being able to get a stealth bomber or even worse a EMP/juggs.... ridiculous!!

I know man I wasnt implying anything... I hate people playing like that, even if they are in my team is horrible to watch, specially when playing search, most of the time I just leave, I have more interesting things to do like pairing my socks... ;)

There's a no recoil glitch now.

What kind of freaks actually figure these things out.

    Patched by friday though, supposedly.

Type 95, akimbo FMG9s, Assassins still need to be nerfed.
Shotguns still need to be buffed, esp. the SPAS as it's basically a slower-firing Striker now.
Couldn't be arsed playing this game until that **** is sorted out.

Is it just me or is the accuracy stat for snipers completely ****ed ?

Just looking at my previous few games on CoD elite, was using the MSR, did reasonably well. One game i went 30-9, yet it says my accuracy with the MSR in that game was only 7.3% !!! How is that even possible, i would have had to shoot 410 times !! Im not the best sniper in the world but fook...

Guessing the stats in general and just messed up ?

Yea it said mine was like 20% over about 500-600 kills which is so far off the mark.

yeah... mine is about 5% with both L11 + MSR (Bout 500 kills each).

Did you report them using the easy to use in-game report function?

I haven't caught anyone yet (mainly because I have played about 10 games of FFA) but I have a plan in place if I do. Report them in the lobby, turn on my mic and tell everyone else to do the same.

Then let IW dole out the bans.

Booster hunting is a much revered past-time of mine... :P

Meh it was fun in MW2 only because we couldn't report them. Now we can so I report them and leave the lobby. In MW2, I joined in on the boosting fun with 2 strangers for a single game so I could kill them juuuust before they got the nuke.

Indeed. For the most part I find it boring being in a chopper or what not. Rather be running n gunning, more satisfying when you get a good score with your gun than killstreaks.

Every now and again, in a small party it's fun running the assault streaks though but that can only hold my interest for so long.

I figured out why I was caught by motion sensors while using assasin

It happens when you select a different perk rather than assasin and then decide to swap to assasin right after.

It doesnt always happen but i can confirm it does. Doesnt only apply to assasin but also to to for example while I joined a lobby and saw we where loosing 0-3 so I changed to blind eye and moved to a little corner to check the score when I was killed by a predator missile. When I watched the kill cam I could see that there where loads of red squares far away and I could also see how he pointed the predator towards me and that I had a red square too... guess that makes sense now must be carefull when swapping after the game has started classes from now on

This happens on search as far as I know

Nope you showed up red as you (probably) didn't have Blind eye. Blind eye keeps you from showing up "red" on enemy killstreaks not assassin which keeps you off uavs and heart beat sensors, immune to cuavs and emps.

You need to pair them up to stay stealthy.

    EDIT

Could it be that a non blind eye team mate spawned on or near you? Black ops had occasions where perks and equipment wouldn't work as expected.

Ok I decided to give it a bit more of a bash last night, on the 1.05 update and noticed a few other minor things. I knifed a lad 4 times in the back while he was at a window sniping and nothing, he then turned around and shot me in the face. Knifes seem to have been dumbed down or something.
Spawn points are just a nightmare but at least most the lag is gone.

No. he did have blind eye - see his post.

It's worrying 'cos I do change classes a lot in-game depending on what's happening

    Missed that part completely.

Black ops had similar problems like flak jacket failing to protect you from explosions and jammers not working against claymores. Wouldn't be surprised there are similar failings being discovered in mw3.

    Hi All,

Its been a while since i had any input to this forum, which in and of itself speaks volumes to the quality of BOPS. I held off on comment until i had given MW3 a good lash.

Ive been a fan of the franchise since the beginning, it was the first game i managed to get online on the PS2 for example.

Due to family duties, i dont get on as much as id like to anymore but when i do get on, its only for an hour or so and i want to make the most that time.

Ever since Treyarchs WAW Ive preferred IW's releases, i find the handling and game play suits my style more, plus i had found IWs versions to be more realistic, that is to say less "Arcadey"

Im a big fan of Sabo mostly, im a team player for the most part and IW's gameplay rules suit me best. I didnt like Treyarchs deployment style at all so on BOPS i played mercanery only which was actually fine and i played it all year with no complaints.

However, i was delighted to get back to Sabo with IW. But then all the problems and complaints of the last thousand posts started to rear their heads and now given that ive only got a small window to play every other day, i simply cant be dealing with it.

Ive nothing new to add the long list of complaints other than to verify i have experienced them all, most notabley on Sabo, as the bomb planter and protector Ive been hit several times by the guy i just killed spawning behind me as i protect the bomb and killing me. Thats not random either, machine code doesnt do random well, theres a link in there somewhere either by design or incompetence.

As i was looking forward to getting back to Sabo and now feel let down Ill be moving back to MW2 and i hope to see some of the familiar faces there too, as i expect i will.

Farewell MW3, we hardly knew ye..........

Indeed I did and no, I checked the kill feed and I was the only one killed. this will def explain a lot as I have been going bananas at times when I would try to flank the opposite team an enemy would will be shooting and then all of the sudden turn around and aim down the sigth waiting for me to come out of a corner, and he would be the last man standing.

Then I would text him how did he know I was coming that way and he would said I had UAV up... or I would be showing on someones hbs and I could see in the kill cam how he was pin pointing my location using his hbs... always thought it was weird... but the blind eye thingie confirmed my thoughts... can't say this wasnt happening in MW2.

    It doesnt happen 100%.

I think it happens when you change classes after you have spawned and after the enemy has called out his air support/predator/UAV...

I will have to keep my eyes open!

why would you go back to mw2 fair enough the maps are better in it but its a lot more hetic with all sorts in the air 90 per cent of the game?

mw3 is also hectic just not as bad as mw2,

theres no skill in playing the mw series anymore its litrally just stack up your killstreaks and let them do the work hence the reason so many actual bad players do well.

id like to see just a barebones tdm in mw3 on its own, but blops is better hands down you actually had to earn your score in that.
