The person who gave me their code (i am ever so grateful by the way), just sent it to me in a message, and i then applied it at the checkout stage.

Strange, the FNAC dude on the online chat told me the owner of the voucher had to buy the item (and get the money from whomever if they were buying it from someone else). Useless FNAC dude.

Looking forward to hearing some comments about the mpman when people get theirs. I for one bought it on the back of seeing any reviews. It is for under the Christmas tree so won't have any comments for a while. Once it plays games ,contacts to market ,plays movies ,surfs the web ,all with responsible performance and battery then will be well worth the 114 euro

Yeah, I know - but looking at upcoming tablets, it seems 'downsizing' is the latest trend. Wonder if the smaller tab would be easier to use lying on the couch etc? Have also heard the Flyer is fast.....

Just got one too. It's all there, but running android 3.0.1 the WiFi has a very bad range. The guide says it complies with French law on the maximum wifi power allowed of 100mW, but iwconfig says the txpower is 32dBm like most other android phones. There is an update for 3.1 available but I haven't tried it. I'll probably go with a custom 3.2 rom instead. It only comes with a continental adapter for the power supply and there isn't a hdmi cable in the box.

    Hey,

Just got hands on voucher, was planning on getting dad Asus transformer for christmas. But the only one they have is the 3g one, which is like 599, down to 499 with voucher. I want the normal transformer though that is on their normal site, that is 499, and would be 399 with voucher. Anyway about this? Will they do this? Has anyone got this? Thanks

if anyone has a voucher that they not planning on using & would send it my way... I would make a fricken shrine of your profile in my sitting room & would sacrifice one can of beer each day to the beer gods in your honour.. i think it would be only right to...

Mpman tablet arrived yesterday, just had a bit of a play with it last night as its for a prezzie. Running android 2.3. As I am no expert on these and have never used one before I have nothing to compare it to.

Set up wifi and seems to have a decent range. Youtube works fine, downloaded a game from the apps store on it and was fine. Very responsive and no lag that I noticed. Graphics were fine.

Ok if you put it side by side with an Ipad or whatever im sure you would notice the difference but for €114 deleivered I am delighted with it.

I am sure as more of these are sold the guides on tweeking them will appear.

Pretty sure the Transformer is included in the list of Tablets. Its easily the most popular Android tablet so dont think you can go too far wrong!

If your not specifically looking for something with a keyboard the Xoom is a good option. €299 with the voucher AND it the 32Gb version.

Sorry did'nt have it for that long. Was about 30 minutes on it and did not notice it move.

Had a slight buzz from one of the speakers when I had it upstairs but it disappeared when I took it downstairs and reappeard when I brought it back up. Putting it down to some kind of interference. But worked fine while downstairs. All packed away now. :)

Thanks for the review pissed. Can you just confirm it's definitely running 2.3? The website still lists it as 2.2.
