Anything to do with X Factor.

I'm also against really detailed posts about one's pregnancy. It just weirds me out a bit. That's private stuff.

"If this photo gets 100 shares, this little boy will get his heart transplant for free".

    No he won't, you moron.
i wouldnt mind so much, but when i saw that it had over 100,000 shares, i was so tempted to post 'well, if he hasnt got it yet, he's probably dead now...' but that wouldnt do me any favours with that girl, or her friends

they say it brings you closer to your friends etc....it does the complete opposite as all it does is push you further away from your friends because nothing is face to face anymore.

Well, to be honest, it does brings you closer to your friends (or at least it can)

In my case (Irish woman living in Germany) very little is face to face with my friends at home (once or twice a year when I'm home on holiday) so Facebook does actually keep me up to date with what's going on in my friends lives (and thankfully my true, best friends don't post moronic status updates)

Have to second that. Am also living abroad and currently on maternity leave, alone all day - so am using my facebook profile a lot more to keep in touch.

Anything to do with X Factor.

I dont watch it, well, intentionally.
But yesterday Fb went bat-shít crazy about it all.

One i hate is someone putting up a word describing their state and proceeding it with .COM.
    Example:
    confused.com
    bored.com
    annoyed.com

'Sexting is when you send me pictures of you wearing nice clothes and standing next to piles of cheese. Trust me, that's sexting.'

'You don't have to be nice to people in turtlenecks.'

I'm going to vent a gripe I've had for a very long time. Before any of you retort, I know what kind of people post on facebook, and I know how much bull**** you have to wade through to find any comment of worth, but it does have its uses... notably I now live in South Korea, and it's most definitely the best way to keep in contact with people... thus justifying why I use it and why I'll continue to use it...

I've seen a growing trend in young mothers or girls in general... posting crap constantly. And not your regular crap, this retarded moany drivel, oh woe is me ****. I knew this girl pretty well in school, and she didn't seem like a rehab at the time...

Every time she posts something it's crying about some man that can't be trusted or relied on. It's really annoying and fairly pathetic. We get it you're having a tough time, stop moaning on a public forum like Facebook, that's what your friends are for.

I've posted some of her most recent comments...

"If ur gonna chase asshole don't be suprised if u end up in ****"

"I hate lies give me anything but don't give me a liar"

‎"..you never know how much is enough until you have had more than enough"

"im already having a "I need a drink" kinda day."

"I think d vodka needs me"

"Ive never been afraid of nething till now ...but ive walked dis path alone and alone i shell walk no man no love no security needed we enter dis life alone we ended dis life alone x"

"I wish i had memory of a fish rite now"

"I need a bottle of vodka rite now"

Now it would be very easy for me to go through her page and pick out a few suspect ones but I assure you, those profile page comments are actually all in a row.

Another thing that annoys me is women or girls going on Facebook with comments like
"Some1 would want to watch what dey say, and mind their own business becuz they r gonna gt wats cumin 2 dem eventualy"

Rehab, you very clearly have a comment to make to someone in specific, the comment is so specific that, that person probably knows it's meant for them. Why don't you **** off and send it to them directly instead of floating it around for all your dope friends to comment
"Nevermind em gurl, they're only sphastics!1!"

My last rant revolves around the facebook moms posting comments about how proud they are of their kid, regardless of how young they had them (they actually mention as much). I am not a heartless bastard, there is absolutely nothing wrong with loving your kids obviously, but it feels a little put on if you're posting the same wishy washy crap every five minutes...
"I can't believe it's two years already, I love you babe, you're the best thing that ever happened to me, etc etc etc..."

If you love the child so much why don't you get off ****ing facebook for more than five minutes and tell them that... and don't be putting on some facade on show for angry bitter ****ers...

I'm not looking for solutions, (obviously just defriending them would solve it) just needed to get this off my chest.

Anyone else deal with the same crap...?

Change it to Manbook (Where we only allow the sound women on)

I must have a dozen of those moany posts in my news feed everyday..

If you don't want to delete them just hide everything they post from your newsfeed.. Works for me!

FFS, learn how to use Facebook. It takes two clicks to remove her from your news feed, you don't even have to de-friend her if you're that precious about needing to have her on your facebook

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

    Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/boardsie-enhancement-suite/

I snapped there the other day and deleted some people. I hid a few others from my news feed. I just can't read the attention whoring status updates anymore and I really don't care about their children. I recommend it OP. Now only the humorous/relevant/well-adjusted people clog up my news feed and I like fb again.

Yep thats what I do, il allow one ****e rant just incase theyre having a bad day after that il hide or delete them, some people are total exhibitionists and will post any crap they can think of so their friends will 'aww hunni waz up' them. I rarely status update on it, it just seems so needy.

And people that post every last song they listen to, eh I have access to youtube too. Great if its a song you came across that hasnt been around in a while or something like that. I recently deleted an Enrique Inglesias fan.
