I saw a guy out in Dublin last night in a CM Punk t-shirt. Not that regularly I'd see one out on a Saturday night in Dublin City Centre.

I still wait to see one on an attractive female :P:pac:

Can't believe the 1-6 meself, but i was rooting for the other team :p wtf was going on!

Can't believe the 6-1 myself but that was coming(didn't expect it to be that large) United gave up far too many chances vs Arsenal, Chelsea & Liverpool without getting punished. Surely Evans is done there now the guy is the absolute pits

Evans was shocking, being responsible partly for the first goal and then getting sent off. But he wasn't on the field for the final three goals in 4 minutes at the end. Being a man down isn't enough of an excuse for playing that way.

I agree it's been a long time coming though. My only hope is this is a wake up call to Fergie to go out and get a decent attacking midfielder...

I have seeen a good few people mention this on facebook, twitter etc. but the problem most definitely is not attacking midfield. Surely the fact that Silva, Aguero, Nasri, Ballotelli, Toure (e.g whoever wanted to) could pick up space between Uniteds midfield and defence means the problem is more down to the fact they dont really have a holding midfielder.
Yaya sat on Rooney and showed how to shield the defence properly. Utd didn't/couldn't do this.
    City were very impressive though

Chelsea are all over the place today. Totally losing their heads anyone that thinks Villas Boas has changed the mentality needs to look at the reactions of them today. David Luiz at centre back is a sight to behold its like he hasn't a clue how to play there a Jordan Henderson level waste of money hurts to say that as a liverpool fan.

I get why people say about defence, and I think Rio is a shadow of his former self at this stage. My hope with defence is that both Smalling and Jones show real potential and its only a matter of time till they both develop nicely. In the meantime, I agree United could do with something in between the youth and age of Jones/Smalling and Rio though, but City have a lot of top players who were always going to cause problems.

Why I say attacking mid though is because that's where United look weakest; when a team keeps the ball in midfield, United don't look dangerous. We're ok on the wings, we're ok up front and we're ok at the back. Midfield is our weakest section. We could probably do with a good CDM as well though. It's more a case of trying to look dangerous in CM that I'd like...

So yeah. A good attacking midfield AND defensive midfield would be nice :)
