He finished on -16 (I think). I watched a fair bit of the golf on Sat and Sun and I don't think Sky showed him once, they seem to prefer showing Harrington taking half a lifetime to take a routine drop from a water hazard!

8 counting events left before Dubai, eligible for 7 of those so will probably play 4/5 more i'd guess.

Technically he is 60th. Tom Lewis and Ryan Moore I think it is can't play because they are associate members.

You could argue that it's harsh even though it's not the done thing to argue on-thread...

Firstly, conno has a history and a rap sheet as long as a bay hill 7 iron. He's just back from being site-banned recently and he's had his time off from this forum specifically too from time to time.

Secondly, it's not really cricket to say that "Pro x" is a {insert insult here} but because this is an Irish site, we're needfully more protective of the Irish players because they potentially have family/friends/siblings/children etc. reading here.

Our pet troll sometimes serves a purpose with a certain humour value but the grasshopper still has much to learn...

    Back on topic:

I think Shane would be really annoyed if he didn't make the race this year as I think he only missed out by 1 place last year! A good top 10 will get him there though!

Sorry Plumber - Just to clarify..there are certainly a good chunk of helpful, decent and fun people that post regularly on the Golf Forum(40%)

    Then there are the others.

So in summary, it was not an all inclusive insult so sorry if I upset you in anyway

Indeed, he seems to be getting his game back on track after a post Wentworth slump, 3 cuts in a row, with 2 decent cheques. The next 2 in Spain are crucial, a top 10 in either and he's pretty much there.

Excellent start to his final round in the Andalucia Masters. -3 after 6 leaves him on -2 and 4 off the lead of Garcia who is going for back to back wins.

A top 6 finish will get him 100k+ which will move him comfortabally inside the top 60 for the race to Dubai.

2 behind with 2 to play. Chance to post a decent number even if it might be one to many.
