    I think they're alright looking. The heel makes them look a bit like the nike ones but red obviously. Might be going on the list.

    On a related note, there were 4 guys (and their coach) practicing pro wrestling in the gym tonight. I was on the treadmill right in front of them, and had to try not to laugh a few times. There were decent enough tbh.
    Apparently they are in all the time, I was just running late tonight

    Kendrick Farris (S=157, C+J=199, T=356) and Pat Mendes (S=177, C+J=212, T=389) both competing atthe US nationals last weekend.
    Both took 1st in 85kg and 105kg+ respectively.

    Farris' total (356kg) was actually enough to take 1st place in 94kg and 2nd in 105kg by only 3kg.
    I was expecting a bit more from each tbh, Farris was +3kg on both in Athens, and we;ve all seen the Mendes 207kg training snatch but i suppose they were taking it easy enough.

    Mendes constantly has allegations of using PEDs and this performance has done nothing to calm down internet investigators seeing as if he wants to compete in the Olympics he needs to allow random out of competition testing from the 26th of July til next years Olympics

    Salimi did 208 without straps in the Asian games.
    And totalled about 60kg more than Mendes.

    Lu Yong did 385kg in the same tournament this year.

    They just aren't as big a deal on the english speaking internet.

    Even if he legitimately wasn't on PEDs, the internet brigade would still be suspicious of him. Wasn't he injured for most of this year.

    He'll lose a lot of credibility if he doesn't bother with the olympics though
