    Actually, I have a request.

Does anyone know of a keyboard replacement app that changes the size of the keys based on the likelihood of the next letter? I saw one before but never got the name of it, and my crappy typing is starting to frustrate me!!

Tunein. Connects to loads of stations.
You can set a station as your alarm too.

Just wanted to say how surprised I was at just how good this works. Only minor gripe is no snooze on the alarm but that's probably for the best and got me out of bed 45 minutes earlier than usual this morning! :D

I think the Swiftkey X beta does that.

Not so much a must have but may be helpful for some with possible industrial action imminent. Aer Lingus app just launched.

Anyone use Heytell? Not entirely useful, but kind of cool. Its just a way of sending audio messages to your mates, kind of like a walky talky.

A bit of craic when you've had a few drinks!

I downloaded it the other week then realised that I didn't know anyone else with it! Might try again in a few months.

This is a great app if you have a suction mount.
Save video files with important road events. Upload your journeys!
Acting as a car blackbox, dash cam or auto DVR, DailyRoads Voyager continuously records videos and captures photos during your journeys. The app automatically records everything, but only important events are retained for future reference or as evidence. You get to choose what to keep, simply by touching the screen, even while you drive.

Tested it this morning, quality is great, I just need to figure out the speed/time overlays etc. now.

I use Financisto (free), good enough for my needs anyway

Nice one. Wish I had it last year when I got hit by a driver who subsequently lied in court about the accident. And got believed. :(

    Yeah but more fun.

Also, when you install it it defaults to playing all messages immediately on speakerphone, like push-to-talk. This can produce comedy gold if you send abusive messages to your mates when they are in work/cinema/funeral etc.

But mostly it's just for drunken voicemails without using credit/minutes.

The income calculator buys the best properties to you depending on your money and gets them for you in one go instead of buying one at a time.

Try again. I just tested it. Click link in my post, then "slow download", wait 30 second. Fill out CAPTCHA. Finally get file you want.

edit: Ok I'm feeling generous today. I downloaded it and put it in dropbox, here ya go: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4436079/s223.zip
Note I do not vouch for the authenticity of this file or anything...

I am looking for a kickass music app - I have tried them all; PowerAmp, TuneWiki, you name it.

None have proper equalizers or keep the art on at all times. I also need to update info like names of bands etc. and none allow this (apart from TuneWiki - but it has no equalizer or the art disappears even after updating)
I have also tried "cover art downloader" to download art seperately but that doesn't work properly.

Is there anything that just does the job?

    :( Frustration kicking in!

There is a great new service but we aren't allowed to talk about it. Mods deleted the thread :( It's in closed beta right now.

    Darn!
Why is it so difficult to get a decent music app? :(

I used to use Media Monkey on the PC for meta tagging and cover art etc., then drag and drop into a folder to use with whatever music app, DoubleTwist or Winamp.

Still very early development, but if I must use my phone for music this is my choice of app.
Use it on all my MP3 players so it feels natural to use it on my phone.
