Lady Lainy - quick question, how many PP per Ryvita, I use the Aldi version of Ryvita and they are 1pp for 2 but I'm all out of them and I don't have an Aldi near me and the Lidl version are not so good. Hope your dog is doing ok, I would absolutely die if anything happened my dog, she's my life.

GOOD LUCK to all doing the Marathon :) hope it stays dry for you all.

Well done to all on the lossess and STS this week.

Took myself off shopping yesterday and was so excited to be able to buy size 10's, still brought the 12's & 14's into the dressing room but in nearly all of the shops had to ask a member of staff for a smaller size, such a GOOD feeling, never thought I would see the day. Spent waaaaaaaayyyyy more than I should have, easily €500 + but I sooooooo deserve it - don't I? My wardrobe is full again, had given all my clothes away. I just pray to god that I keep this weight off, otherwise I'll be asking for all of my old clothes back :D

thats whats on the ww website....could be down to how the ice cream is made, the type of cream/milk used ect...
I wouldnt be touching either....7 or 8pp....thats an entire meal... :O

its a nice example of what might be a "good" choice i really not so good.

the fruit pasteel ice lollies are delish and at 60kcal and 2pp each...perfect for this weather! (they're also CHEAP!!!!! BONUS)

I eat the original Ryvita crispbreads. They are 1pp for one, 2 for 2pp etc. They actually work out at 0.9pp each.

I'm totally a proud mammy over him!
He eats his food....drinks plenty of water
Walks on the lead, house trained,
Didn't cry at night when we got him,
and loves his big new kennel out side.

ALL IN ONE WEEK! Can't wait to start doing obedience with him!

    My non food reward!

Poor charlie though...he must have thought he was being locked up and thrown away....first this new puppy arrives....then my mum locks me in the car in the heat for 8 hours.... :O Since then he's being extra nice with the puppy...its like "Oh i better play nice or they wont keep me" I <3 my bow wows! My hairy four legged babies! I dont think i'll actually ever be able to move outa home :O I'd miss them too much....dont really mind too much about the family....but god i'd miss the critters...

According to the shopping guide it says a Frankfurter, regular 1 (47g) is 4 points, hope this helps.

Thanks for this Donegal3 - such a waste of 4 pp, might just bring a piece of yellow fin sole and cook it at hers, much more eating in that for the same pp. I get such great encouragement from all my family that I'm sure she wont mind.

Thats totally the right attitude...and the yellow fin sole is YUMMY!

Dear god....I feel like I have been eating ALL day! but its all within my points :D

scheduling snacks really working for me! So i'm never a couple of hours away from something...weather it be a cup of skinny mocha 2pp or a bran muffin at 4pp...

And I've only had 2 cups of coffee ALLL day...and 3 litres of water :D

Just wondering if anyone felt weak or light headed during their first week? I'm staying within my points and I'm eating filling healthy foods but I'm feeling light headed a lot. My mum thinks it's my body reacting to the dramatic drop in sugar!

yeah that can happen. When I did motivation weight loss few years ago they warned me about that in the first week. When going from high sugar diet to healthy diet.

Drink plenty of water, drink some orange juice....regardless of points... don't let your self be ill. It'll pass in a few days.

(100ml unsweetened orange juice is 1pp if you do want to point it)

spread out your points little but often so your levels cant drop dramatically from going too long without eating

Anyone have a recipe for turkey burgers? I'd love to try making my own!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,427 ✭✭✭Lady Lainy

These are chicken burgers...but could be swopped for turkey mince (chicken mince is lower in points than turkey)

the whole recipe makes ONE nice BIG juicy burger for 7pp!

If you want it for two
    Use 150g Chicken Mince (4pp)
    2 burger buns (7pp)

Burgers will work out at 6pp each :)

my tracker is jam packed! haha!

I have 1pp left :) So I'll have an Aldi Hot Chocolate later on this evening!

Had Quorn Pasta Bake and a baked apple for dinner + dessert 15pp!
I like my big (but healthy) dinners :)

Feeling GREAT! Back on the right road!
