    PY3105 - Condensed Matter Physics.

Not a nice paper. :( Q.3 was a complete balls - more chemistry than physics! And Q.2 wasn't nice because I always found the "chain of springs" thing hard. :(

That should have been an easy exam. But alas, no.

I had Strategic Management and Marketing yesterday. Was absolutely wrecked after it, hadn't done a 3 hour exam in a while before that! Paper was grand, had been gunning for the 1H with that class but will be touch and go as to whether i get it now. Still cant really complain about it. Roll on the 25th for my final exam ever in UCC (*sob, sob):D

Don't be such a bollocks. What he studies or doesn't study has nothing to do with you. there is also a ferocious smell of troll off you.

MS3005 went grand, got most of the first two questions and got one part of the third question, kinda of threw down anything I thought relevant for the others part - good start with my worst module being okay! Up again on Friday

HI30something or other today, Soviet Union in World Politics 1917-1991. The themes I had taken a gamble on and studied came up. Khrushchev's approach to foreign policy as well as Soviet military interventions in Eastern Europe and the Brezhnev Doctrine.

Khrushchev question was fine, I digressed a little with his track record pre-Cuba but it was a core element of his approach and how his policy disintegrated by 1962, I certainly hope my lecturer picks up on it.

Brezhnev and interventions were fine. Got it down but missed the last couple of my sentences of my conclusion so it feels terribly incomplete.

Off for another week, getting a little bit ridiculous by this stage - the length.

BC3001 today(structural biochemistry). Two nice general questions came up so pretty happy with it. One down of this 4 day grind :(

    Critical Theory today.

It was pretty alright. One of my answers was a bit dodgy though. So much information not enough time to write it all down and no structure to it at all.

Scrrrreewweed for Contemporary Studies of the European Union tomorrow

You'd be surprised, and I say this as a proud Arts bashing member of the Faculty of commerce.

Stupid History HI2012, I finished early. I wrote everything I had prepared down so hopefully that'll be enough. Anybody do the same exam?

    HI2012? What exam was that?

Had two exams yesterday (Monday) and they went relatively well. I've got one exam every day this week and then a gap of five days and have the last three. In total I have twelve exams this year so i'm slightly busy!

Also, the invigilators are really starting to bug the hell out of me. Yes, I do know i'm not allowed my bag at the desk or to have some paper etc. You don't need to shout. Just leave me alone so I can do my exam and fail in peace and quiet. :P

    Had Project Management yesterday :(

Awful awful paper. The reason being the lecturer had two review lectures at the end of term but hardly anything on the paper had been covered in them.

    The old switcheroo

    AN2004 yesterday went lovely..now 3 exams in 3 days and im done!huzzah!

AM2060-C++ programming and applications. Worst exam I have ever been apart of. With around 60 in the class I would estimate the number of people who said they failed at 25-30, maybe higher!

MA4058 - Measure Theory and Martingales yesterday.
It was spectacularly average. Question 4 was a little tougher than usual, and he never asked the definition of a measure space (which he did every year before). Could have been worse though.

PY4105 (Atomic and Molecular Physics) is up on Friday. The most worrying thing is actually getting to the damn Metropole because of the damn Queen and her inconsiderate visit... >.<

More than half I talked to anyway. I'd say he'll give more than 50% of the marks for Q2/3. I could also see him not taking all your answers for question 1, but only counting the best 5 or 6 or 7. That would definitely take a lot of people out of a fail.

I showed it to my brother and he said it had become a lot harder since he had done it. He was wondering where the easy questions like on how many bits in a byte had gone to!:D
I know you got on alright anyways, lets hope that he takes how many failed into account!

Had 4 exams in the past 2 weeks, they have all gone pretty well. By which I mean I passed them anyway, anything else is a bonus. I have AM3064 - Computational Techniques on Thursday, dreading it. No past papers, no sample papers, half his notes make no sense as he would switch question half way through and stuff. Just going to have to learn off definitions of everything I can find and a few techniques that he mentioned one day in class and hope for the best. I only need a pass by compensation but I don't think many in the class think they can even make that which is worrying

Had contemp studies of the EU. Grand out. A lot better than was expected.

Coastal geomorphology on thursday, i am not looking forward!

Had CS6502 yesterday, programming for bioscientists II. Nice, straightforward paper. Also, the lecturer was about afterwards for a chat. He also did the programming I module exam I sat a few days before, and decided to mention that while he hadn't any specific grades for it, nobody had failed. Which really was a nice bit of news, considering I thought I'd blown it when my brain shut down during the test.

Nice when lecturers are sound like that.

ST4400 tomorrow morning. Not looking forward to that. :(

Had Social Structure, Inequality and Stratification today. Went pretty well and everyone seemed happy with the paper. Bourdieu and his four forms of capital ftw!!!

I don't know what to make of our clown of a lecturer coming into 10-15 minutes into our exam telling we us we had to do 4 questions instead of 5.Very angry since he stated clearly in an email that it would be 3 out of 5. So pissed!

Yeah pretty sure he can't do that. Contact the department but also make sure to contact the S.U.

had an exam today, cs1105, really nice paper! our lecturer came in half way through the exam and walked around, still left with like an hour to spare. really really dont like the neptune as an exam hall, the noise from the toilets is a little distracting
