You could be right! The chest has an near un-doubtable undertaker resemblance, especially with the straps.
But the face does have more of a shawn look around the mouth.

That is not the bit you should be looking at, that is clearly The Undertaker. If there is a second person in the video, it will be the figure walking inside the cabin. Go to 19 seconds and you see somebody. Looks like the video is meant to be Taker walking up to a cabin with somebody inside.

The Rock had a great promo, though it is interesting to see where it goes. Lots of double-speak in there about being back. I really hope this is not an attempt to make Cena more likeable for non-kids.

This Raw also shows the value of having one show with all the top guys on it. In the old days, Edge and Ziggler would be having their feud over the Intercontinental title. They obviously wanted to put on a great show to cash in on the host announcement. Some good in-ring action (with one excellent match between Danielson and Miz), some good promos building towards EC/Mania, one of their best buildups to a comeback and then the great last segment.

Kinda shows how poor most promos are when The Rock's stands out so much. Also shows how poor the crowd are apart from a few hotspots like NYC. Funny seeing one kid booing The Rock and giving him the thumbs down after the Cena line. If that leads to some sort of "we are both great, lets hug" moment at Mania, I may get sick. Far better if it led to Cena turning heel at Mania next year in Miami in a match against The Rock!

If WWE ever want to turn Cena heel now is the time to do it :p although I doubt they would ever turn their biggest cash cow there is only Rey left who comes close as a top babyface cash cow

They could easily turn cena slowly and then BOOM, plug loads of rocks merchandise, making up the difference.
Like the rocks glasses. I gotta find them when i get home. I'll be wearing them all day!

I'd be really surprised if there wasn't a match between Cena and Rock. I mean, why would Vince allow Rock to bury Cena like that unless there was a motive for it?

What do you do after Mania when The Rock returns to movies? If The Rock were actually staying, sure they'd do it in a heartbeat. Although they surely have some plan in store after letting The Rock say that. Again I fear it being an attempt to make Cena more likeable for males.

Cant wait to get home and watch this, I've completely lost interest in wrestling lately, I didnt even watch the Rumble, first one I've missed in over a decade. Love a good return pop though :pac:

You know what. That makes the last few months of weaker shows completly worth while.

Even putting aside The Rock for a second, we had some great matches, some great promos and some great build for the PPV. Shame it's now confirmed to be Taker, but still....

As for The Rock...I'll be honest. I shed a tear of happiness. Just possibly the greatest moment for me in years. And I was deligthed they let him go out and cut the promo every adult fan has wanted to be cut for so, so long. The poor censor guy had his job cut out for him. Nearly died when the woman got out of the car but once the lights went out and the electricty started being shown....Ah God, I would have pittied anyone who came out who wasn't The Rock there.

Where will that leave Mania though? Tell you one thing; my biggest complain about Elimination Chamber was how predictable it all was with Cena as the obvious champion. Now though that they've set up Cena vs Rock....Jesus, the pay per view just got blown wide open again. What a ****ing go home show!

did they have that plan when miz was coming out every week and burying cena during the summer of 2009 or hhh back in 2006 when he was burying cena

its a cheap way to get rock onside with the iwc thats all, "wow he said something about cena, i hate cena, rock is sooooo cool" :P

Massive difference in those, The Miz was a low-mid carder in 2009, The Rock is returning as the selling point for Wrestlemania. Sure it is a cheap way to get adult males on board, but my point is that I think they'll use it as a way to try and get adult males to like Cena.

But that was all about when cena slammed him for walking away from wrestling and going to do movies.

I'm still most curious about what the plans are.

Rock said he is 'never going to leave' and that he is 'quite simply, back'.

Does that mean he is back for at least a while (as opposed to just host WM as previously speculated) or is it just a really sh1tily worded promo that the WWE fans will crucify him for in a couple of months?

by burying the guy, not exactly the way you go about it then, a large percentage of adult males wear cena shirts at live shows in the states so i don't think they had that in mind

what i saw and heard was a standard face rock promo and he burying the two guys the iwc dont like in cole and cena.

i'd say its a case instead of walking away 7 years ago and not been seen again, he'll do something along the lines of what austin and probably micheals will do, if they can, and schedules dont clash, they will help the wwe out promoting stuff and make special appearances when they can.

Maybe it means that when he isnt doing movies he will be popping about.
Ala Stone cold. Not always an active member of the roster, but around a helluva lot more than rocky.
And maybe even to a more recent extent, Shawn.

Thats the way im taking it up. That before he walked away, never made any references, never spoke about wrestling and all that.
But now he will never walk away the same way as he did before. Maybe even bringing back the rock nickname for his movies and that.

After calming down, there was one post in this topic which made me think seriously about whats going to happen. Someone mentioned that maybe he'd be the special guest referee at Wrestlemania between Cena and Miz, and maybe that makes sense.

Have Rock as the ref. Have him cost Cena the title.

Have Rock vs Cena as a major story for the entire summer, building to their first ever match at Summerslam. Maybe that's where the whole "I'm never leaving" thing is heading; Rock pops up a few times on Raw between now and Summerslam, before having a "Loser leaves Wrestling forever" match...
