Every country has it's own problems and Ireland is no different.

We have a fairly generous welfare system. The main problem is it doesn't incentivise people to get off it. Someone who paid their stamps and has just been laid off gets the same money as some waster who has been avoiding work for the last 20 years.

Travelling abroad and living abroad are two totally different experiences, I've done a fair bit of the latter. Believe me you will come across plenty of 'skangers' when you actually live in a country, as opposed to travelling through it.

It's all rather unsettling to hear the words "I seen" and "I done" coming from somebody's mouth, not to mention an inability to discern the possessive case in the English language or the were subjunctive. This sort of remedial English needs to be beaten into such 'primitive skangers' of clearly inferior intelligence.

Ireland is not a ****hole. But alot of Dublin is becoming a ****hole. But its not so much the skangers.
Its more the junkies/ zombies, walking dead, what ever you wanna call them. Its disgusting. There disgusting.

Now I grew up in Tallaght. An I love Tallaght. I really do. Admittedly not the part that gives Tallaght its bad name.

But the **** I see on the Luas red line, well the areas it travels through,plus O'Connell street and around the quays of inner city, disgusts me and depresses me at times. Its so full of scum its unbelievable. It is like a Zombie movie. Well maybe the start of a zombie movie:)

What I propose is a Hoover system. A human hoover system, that goes around and hoovers this scum up. Recycle it into better use, and turn Dublin city into the beautiful city it once was.

I've only been "travelling" for a few months but already see that 99% of people in Ireland have a stupidly high standard of living but don't realise it. It's good that the standard is so high though so it's not a shlthole.

Need to cut the dole for people on the dole over 5 years, cut it for crimes, and have some sort of multiplier effect where each previous crime people commit affects the length of the sentence they get for their latest crime. Having scumbags with 50+ convictions running around still terrorizing people is a joke.

the weather sucks, the people are ugly, you cant get a job(only if your from eastern europe) and the people are alcoholics.
i just cant understand why the place was ever inhabited in the first place.

The "scumbags" that hang around my estate are generally 15, 16, 17 and 18.. the little pup I caught at the brothers motorbike was about 17.

Their circumstances have nothing to do with the Dole or welfare or whatever. They're just young trill seekers who wear the shamtastic uniform.

Some of the worst people like this I knew growing up came from the same sort of situation as myself (working parent, stay at home mum, basically a family the conservatives would be proud of), others had far more money.

i went into a chinese the other day and tried to pay with my debit card. sorry they said, 15 euro limit for using your card. i left the chinese went next door to spar, cash machine out of order (no suprises there).
didnt go back to the chinese. went next door to the offy, got 4 cans of karpackie for 5 euro. sorry they say, 7.50 limit on card. bought another 5 cans and went home drank 2 cans and went to bed.

that is ireland in a nutshell for ya. a pure and utter kip.

how could you feel in any other way? i always wished that ireland could of colonised a nice country in africa or something in the middle east. it could of offered an alternative to this place

We wouldn't be Irish then! we aren't hated world wide like the Brits and yanks specifically because we didn't go traipsing around the world calling other peoples lands our own!

So what do you do with the people who've been tried, convicted and had a kidney pulled out of them only for it to transpire that the conviction was a mistake and they were innocent all along? Do you go to the organ recipient and demand it back and then stuff it into the wrongly convicted guy again? Pretty cretinous argument.
