Rashers! But it's hard to find real rashers across the pond. I need a rasher-connection.

Only here. For some reason the streaky bacon here doesn't get nice and crispy like it does in the U.S. I think it's something to do with the way they cure it.

It's more to do with how it's cooked. All bacon goes crispy if you cook it quickly at a really intense heat.

I chose rashers based on these facts.

    - Rashers take minutes to cook/ sausages take at least 10 minutes.
    - Rashers need very little attention when cooking./ sausages demand sweat-inducing scrutiny if you want them the right colour/tenderness.
    - Ever have a rasher & egg sandwich?
    - Rasher sandwichs can be eaten with red or brown sauce. Or mayonaise if your a pervert/ sausages? just red sauce. Boring.
    - Rashers are 100% real meat./ sausages can contain as little as 42% actual pork.

I could never add sauce especially if the quality of the meat is good.

Does anybody else automatically think of delicious pork products when they see a picture of a pig?

I just see a walking ham. Yummers.

    I never eat pork ..

At least with Beef and Lamb, you can be assured they've had some quality of life before becoming food.
