At least you are a genuine Man City unlike the glory hunter ones

Yup. As a lifetime fan, I can honestly say that the glory hunters are going to be disappointed. Messing it all up at the last minute is our specialty. It gives us character. :pac:

It's wildly undervalued. Makes it more interesting. The ups and downs and what not.

For the first time ever I will be cheering for arsenal because spurs desperately need them to beat Man City.

What happens if the Limerick V Waterford match finishes a draw??
will it be replayed or what??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,553 ✭✭✭soccymonster

I'd say it would be. They wouldn't try and stop the sligo-antrim match from starting at 7 since people do have to travel home like. But then again, this is the GAA we are talking about here.

    Yeah maybe!
Only a point in it still!
And stephen kelly is on so we should be ok !

0-0 in the arsenal/ man city match. Good result because spurs are still clear of man city.

Would love to see Spurs get 4th. Always somewhat of a soft spot for them, they like to try and play good football, and I don't mind Redknapp. And it's a guaranteed 3 points when they come to OT :pac:

If Citeh get it, they'll go and spend megabucks, and they'll be a more attractive prospect to transfer targets. Whether we like it or not, City will be challenging for major honours soon, assuming their bazillionaire owners don't get bored. Them missing out on 4th would at least delay the process.

Knowing Spurs though, if they get 4th, they'll 'do an Everton' and lose in the qualifiers, rendering the entire effort pointless.

It will be interesting to see how much money man city spend in the summer if they don't get 4th.

It'll be even more interesting to see how much they spend if they DO get fourth!

As a City fan, I'm feeling anxious. If results don't come, the owners could get bored and we'd be landed with a huge wage bill. Such is the way of the modern game.

The race for 4th (and 1st, of course) is getting very exciting though. It could be decided by the match between City and Spurs. Spurs have the home advantage and the league advantage. Exciting stuff.

I just hope we don't buy Torres. That'd be a waste of a transfer.

The game is at the City of Manchester Stadium

It wouldn't be much compared to if they get fifth. If they get fifth they will be really annoyed that they got fifth and they blew an opportunity of the champions league place.

Thats cool but they can't back it up in the championship.

I don't know about that. We done fairly well last year, just losing to Kerry by a point. We're not going to win the All-Ireland but it's not really expected! I think we have a good chance to beat Mayo in the first round, the team is playing well at the moment.
But the qualifiers is where we really shine anyway! :p

Thanks but after your display against Arsenal I wouldn't be too worried being a spurs fan.

Tbf, we should be less worried after your display against Man United.
