Darach Honan is the reason I gave up hurling!
The day he walked into Ardscoil Rís with a camán was the day all other full-forwards in the school knew they'd never be needed again :o

    Seriously talented athlete.

Said it myself in the gaa forum :P

Very low scoring and disappointing so far tbh.

    Very well hit goal though!
Tbh if Clare lose this, Waterford gonna destroy them in 5 weeks! Ooh 5weeks :D
They have the forwards, its just "messy" play atm..

I laughed.. Feckin hell Wexord didnt seem to realise for every 6 long distance points they went for one went in.. They persisted with it and it almost lost the game for them..
Still though fair play, they didnt want to lose the final 2 years running :)
Both teams are fair bad though...

Yea, the cork-galway one was daaacent.
Was sucha difference in class and skill and just pure entertainment value to the clare-wexford "match".

Yea, sure I had a twenty quid bet on them.
But if I didn't, I'd have been shouting for wexford.
    :P

    Joe was great <3
But Galway were pretty awesome as a team, think they'll get a bit further this year then they usually do :)

    I don't understand odds :P
But my dad said that betting 20 quid on a clare-cork win would get me back round 65 quid.

    Fail!

They gave Kilkenny a really tough game in the Leinster final last year. It is very possible that they could upset Galway.

Ah sure there's no point killing yourself for the half marathon and then feeling too tired to train for the full one. You've plenty of time left. Is this gonna be your first?

Yea shur we'll see.. Think though Galway will be going far this year, not as far as Waterford but far! :pac:

Lets see they have to face Dublin and possibly Kilkenny in Leinster. They sadly lose to kilkenny and get a "tougher" draw in the quarters ie Cork. Beat them then play someone decent in the semis and maybe the final if they win and lose to kilkenny sadly.

Note I hate kilkenny with a passion.

Ohh dont worry every hurling person hates Kilkenny! But Im starting to hate Tipp more lately!!
Errmm tbh its between Galway, Tipperary, Cork, Kilkenny and Waterford this year, so its gonna be more competitive than usual. Even Dublin will be there abouts this year and possibly Offaly depending on the draw.
I honestly couldnt tell you who I think will be in the final this year, its real open!

One place is open every year. The other place is kilkenny's

Imma be honest I'd have said that at the start of this year and for the last 4 years but I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they were beaten in a semi this year!

Still don't think Dublin will even get to play Galway this year (in Leinster at least). Galway-KK final, and it really wouldn't surprise me to see Connacht champons this time round.

And then Tipp to win come September:D

In other sports news, my heart isn't right nce again thanks to the comedic(for other clubs/fans) styling of Leeds United.

Sozzicles but I don't think so tbh.
I can see them as being a threat to certain counties but not AI winners.
