Anyway, he will be off duty for a couple of hours, so you better go and clear that traffic jam over the hill there

So that explains him going missing for a few hours here, and a few hours there.

He said he was visiting his mother.
    Damo,

Do you know who got the clampers in to clamp that cop car outside?

They were just starting as I came in.
I have absolutely no idea whatsoever!!!

Clamp it? FFS they were meant to tow it!!!

Clamp? Don't tell me those gob****e recruits are messing up again?

    I'm allowed double-park.

I sometimes wonder what they teach them in Templemore these days.

I hope you enjoyed that Damo.

There's plenty more where that came from.

Alcohol and meat on Good Friday?

    Catches platter deftly.

    Nods his thanks and

    NNNNNYYYOOOOOMMM

Got any BBQ sauce? That's the only thing they were missing. But it was good.

I'm getting a drink what would you like?

No barbecue sauce I'm afraid. We only have good old fashioned HP and there's a bottle of ketchup over in the corner as well.

I'll have a can of heineken.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,907 ✭✭✭LostinBlanch

Hp is good enough. I'll stick some on the next batch.

    Slides can down the bar.

The poitin was a special delivery for Beruthiel. She was last seen standing in the middle of farmer maguires's field telling the cattle to "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough".

    Weird.

There have been a lot of reports about sheep being disturbed during the night. I wonder if she knows anything about that.

That would be Zaph. He claims to have a hangover this morning but I'd imagine his hurt stems from picking a ram instead of a ewe.

Look I'd had a lot to drink, it was dark and I'm not from the country so it was my first time getting so close to one of those yokes. I'll stick to cow tipping in future...

The law will be upheld as long as I am around today.

Now seeing as you aren't technically selling drink, I suppose I wouldn't mind a drop of something, just to make sure, you understand.

Welcome back to my annual "screw-the-authorites" shindig.

I've brought in some help today in the form of Yore Ma and she has just got the turf fire going..

    by_the_turf_fire.jpg

Breakfast is free and easy with pork products galore. All fried in lard with the new cast iron frying pan.

    frying-bacon.jpg

An courtesy of Yore Ma's, I *cough* borrowed *cough* some drinks to keep us going.

I'll fire up the barbecue later on. I'm just popping out now to grab a pig from farmer Maguires pig parlour. If you hear a bit of squealing, that'll be the pig expressing his happiness at being chosen for the spit.

    Hangover cure please. :o

I ended up in the Sugar Club last night, ticket only party, private, etc., etc.. 1:30, garda raid, bar closed. (Thank you trusty HipFlask! :D)

The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not prohibit the drinking of alcohol at Easter and so, as a member of the FSM congregation I wish to exercise my religious right to Party like a Pirate.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Did 'ruthie take all the poitin?
She did but didn't like it. Any normal person would have discovered this after a single mouthful but not our Ruthie. Oh no, she had to try the whole lot. She has since progressed to an allegedly much finer drink in Blue Nun. I say allegedly because she has taken all the stock of that as well and we only have her word for it as nobody else can get even a sniff of it.
