Welcome back to my annual "screw-the-authorites" shindig.

I've brought in some help today in the form of Yore Ma and she has just got the turf fire going..

Breakfast is free and easy with pork products galore. All fried in lard with the new cast iron frying pan.

An courtesy of Yore Ma's, I *cough* borrowed *cough* some drinks to keep us going.

I'll fire up the barbecue later on. I'm just popping out now to grab a pig from farmer Maguires pig parlour. If you hear a bit of squealing, that'll be the pig expressing his happiness at being chosen for the spit.

She did but didn't like it. Any normal person would have discovered this after a single mouthful but not our Ruthie. Oh no, she had to try the whole lot. She has since progressed to an allegedly much finer drink in Blue Nun. I say allegedly because she has taken all the stock of that as well and we only have her word for it as nobody else can get even a sniff of it.
