I was really happy with Business 1 because my bookkeeping question balanced! \o/

English 1 made my hand so sore, we got 10 minutes less as well! It was a nice paper though!

Turns out I won't need that bucket of ice I was prepering for my hands after all.I got both papers finished in time and I can still use my hands.

Maths paper 1 and CSPE.Not too bad I'm not too sure about the maths but I'm just going to pretend that it's going to be impossible so then when I get it it won't seem too hard at all.

I just had Irish paper 1, I actually loved it!! The grammer was a tense I knew well, the reading comprehension was pretty easy and one of the essay titles you could write just about anything!
Only thing the aural was mainly notheren accents, could barely understand them!
    Overall I <3 paper 1!
I did Gaeilge Paipéar 1 today aswell. It was pretty handy I found. We had only covered verb tenses in the week leading up to pre's so would of preferred a different tense. Still pretty handy though. Scéal was pretty handy as well. If it was marked on this paper alone I'd reckon high B, low A

Geography-Did it today and got on alright but found that in the long questions, there wasn't one that I had studied all aspects of so I had to bluff my way a bit in that. Honours none the less.

Science-Again we hadn't covered some of the topics and I couldn't remember one or two thing I had done. Made a small mess of the graph question but still expect an honours.

Irish Paper 2 and Metalwork tomorrow!

maths 1 wasnt too bad thought it would be a lot harder.. irish1 and cspe 2moro hopefully i will have enough vocabulary learnt for the stories :o

Irish paper 1 and 2 were easy enough. Was finished early in both. Everyone was finished about 40 mins early for paper 1 and I was finished 15 mins for paper 2. English P1 and 2 were alright. Didn't run out of time at all. Expecting a C (:() or a B. I hope.
CSPE was grand, usually do good in that anyway. Didn't study at all for it except a quick look at the last bit of interdependence we did in the car. Wish I actually looked over our notes from last year and 1st year, would have gotten me a extra few marks. Hopeful enough though.
Maths P1 and Geography tomorrow. Maths should be alright but Geography...

I wish we done what they do in the LC forum here with spoilers :(
Not that I'd be looking just for . . . Other people, who can't be bothered studying.

Had Higher Maths Paper 1 and 2 today. Paper one wasn't too bad, but Paper 2 was pretty difficult. All those effing theorems and triangles are a load o' Sh!*e. Still think I passed though :). Have English Paper 1 and Science on Monday. Looking forward to the Science, its my strongest subject, but English is one of my weakest and my teacher is threatening to send down to ordinary level is I don't get at least a C

Maths paper 1 wasn't that bad.I'm fairly happy withit.I flew through the first 3 questions but 4,5 and 6 went slightly downhill.

    CSPE was grand aswell

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,849 ✭✭✭bluejay14

ah don't make me fear the history paper.Although maybe it's good if I expect the impossible, it mightn't seem so hard then when I see it.

Dreading history, haven't studied much for it. Had maths P1 and Geography today. I found maths alright but everyone else said it was hard so I'm guessing something went wrong with me :p Although I'm good enough at maths.
Only thing I found difficult was q5 c, I got the first and third part and then made up the others. My q1 c ii was wrong I know that, didn'thave time to come back to it. Then the other one I didn't really know what to do for was 3 c ii.
Everything else was grand, I'd say I did good enough. Apparantely I looked like I was going to explode during it :p I was really stressed thinking I wouldn't get it done. Then, just to top it all off, my frickin calculator broke  Happened before so I just banged it a few times and it came back to life. Gettin a new one for paper 2 and business, I'd be lost without it for business :D

    How were everyone elses exams?

Somethings not right with my maths paper 1... I finisheed in an hour! I attempted all the questions and I went back over(well I had to there was an hour and a half left!) and there wasn't any big mistakes.
Nobody else finished it as fast..

Cspe was lovely :P I did very little study for it but Im sure I got a high B anyway..

Maths paper 2 and Geography Monday, not looking forward to maths! Constructions and thorems, bleh! =P

No asking for answers/what papers you got/what came up, it against JC charter rules!

    Why not? D:

Mine start on the 24th of February, just after mid-term. I'm screwed! D:

Mine started today with Maths paper 1 and 2. They were kinda hard... They're making us go in for Thursday of Mid Term to do English paper 2 because we missed so many days from the bad weather (as if it was our fault)... Good luck to everyone else. No need to be nervous, they're MOCKS for a reason.

Pre's are actually ridiculous amount of effort,
Some subjects we haven't finished half the course and the teachers say just give it a whack?

I mean its not really giving a clear idea of how the junior cert will actually be.

It's a lot of effort really, Christmas & Summer exams would probably be just as useful as them!

/ Not in a good mood and felt like having a rant.
