Fiona is being very interested in the public tonight...nicey, nicey. "take your time now" etc.

Bet the games will be all very simple - caus they know they are being watched. Interesting to see if they will drag them out as per usual.

The question is though, would they be enough to get the show punted off the air? Seems TV3 are being (in the words of darts commentator Sid Waddell) "as slippery as Houdini in a Vaseline factory" when it comes to doing something about all the faults.

    brilliant, must remember that one!!

why was the last paragraph from the Indo not in your post

ie the part where TV3 were ignorant of what was said and implying that the show has been reviewed and altered etc?

except that it hasn't TV3 and the same response you gave the paper is similar to the responses you give to the general public

The paragraph posted is as on the Irish Times website.

Did anyone else notice that the show started tonight before it actually came on air? After the TV3 "goodnight" it went straight to Fiona with the first spot-the-difference puzzle.

I know this isn't the first time it's happened, but still...

    I wonder why that happens....

end credits of vincent browne stalled for a few minutes tonight so they were late connecting the playTV transmission

There was a slight delay in handing over to playtv. I thought they were going to make some sort of statement but alas....

Only 13 entries last minute. Have they all read the papers today????

no the last paragraph of the article in the Irish Indo , I'm almost sure it was the Indo I was looking at during lunch

The Irish Times as far as I remember only had a very small article,

At the start of the show live entries were 121 and now down to 13
Wonder are they having a late night read of the papers

Looks very similar to the picture down the bottom of this page, except for the cross in the centre.

    Nasty one!

175, an epic number, in fairness I'm not surprised, that was a tough question with all manner of different 4 sided shapes in it.

I didn't see that paragraph in either version. In fact, after a quick glance, I didn't notice anything in the Indo print version. The above is extracted from their website. I might have missed it though.

Also, the same article was in the herald (online at least, I don't buy it).

    175 was the final answer.

closest caller got through to the studio with 50; they could have kept going all night with that one.

and now we'll have their 45 minutes "thinking time" so good night!!

Yes they would normally stretch that type of game out. Because they know they are being watched they decided to finish it and go on the easy Spot the Difference.

    Sorry about delay of pic.
I was in two minds but thought that some of you might want to try it at your leisure.

I've never seen so many game changes. Have they had a slap on the wrist on something??

This one, as we've all known for some time, is D7. Get on with it Fiona!

Live entries? A paltry 21. Serves them right!!

    Goodnight Fiona!!

I was referring to the part below, this was mentioned in an earlier post that it was in the Daily Mail but this part was also in the printed version of Tuesday's Independent.

This has all been rectified since the decisions of the board were made. The majority of the complaints were in relation to technical aspects of the show, which have been fixed since then.
