    Very impressed with it. We have sky sports/movies in two rooms downstairs so this means i can get all of the movies on demand (serious amount of good films on it) in my room. Quality is great and its very fast to load things up. The live tv is great too. Can see myself using this a LOT

    I did indeed squiller. Watched the Dark Knight again last night on it too. There's some great horror films up there. Gotta get around to watching [Rec], heard its very scary. I noticed you signing in and out like crazy the other day trying to get the sky player to appear I presume. haha. Great selection of movies but wish they had hd stuff too

    probably asked already but do you need skymultiroom to use the service, if you just have a single skybox can you use the skyplayer for free

    Just got it set-up there. Can see myself using this a lot. It fits very well into the NXE interface and it's a great extension to it!

    Eugh, it's disappeared from my dashboard totally now. Really want to get this working, I need my Discovery Channel fix!

    Live tv is about 3 minutes slower than you'd get on your Sky box. Kinda funny cos I was watching the Liverpool and Arsenal match the other night in my room and my dad was cheering downstairs. Had no idea what the hell was going on. 3 minutes later and there was a goal.

    Are people having problems looking for sky player to download for the first time like myself or have they downloaded it and can't get it going now?

    As i said im in the first batch, Really want to download it and see what its like:(:(

    I'm having problems in that I can't download it.. Its becoming a joke at this stage

    During the week Microsoft and Sky were saying that they were rolling it out gradually so that there's no problem again with it. I have it and it's working fine. It wasn't working for a few hours during the week but it's running very smoothly now. If you have downloaded it before and it's not appearing on the dashboard then check your previous downloads and play it from there.
    I don't know what the delay is. What do you mean about being in the "first batch"?

    Nope... There was a message about the problems with Sky Player but thats been gone since last night. I had hoped when that left that it would show up.

    Really strange that this is taking so long to appear on some people's dashboard. Shocking really.

    You and plenty of others mate. I know how annoying it must be. They say they're rolling it out gradually but surely it shouldn't take this long.

    Some of you may only just be coming into this thread late so check your video marketplace if you haven't done there. That's where it will be just in case you didn't know.

    Surely it can't be too long before you get it. 4 days after the proposed launch and it's an absolute mess.

    I can honestly say though that it will be worth the wait. The selection of on demand movies is incredible and the quality is unreal. Buffers for 10 seconds and then plays right through with no interruptions or buffering.

    Same goes for live tv. Buffers for 10 seconds and no interruptions either. It's a great service. Just a pity that there's been a massive delay with it.

    It is perfect though guys. Trust me.

    I managed to download it early on the morning of release and, despite a few issues with buffering and connection, the service seems to be getting progressively better for me.

    Download it awhile ago....cant get it going tho.

    Have a SKY HD box and a Sky+ box with movies and sports, etc. Trying to link my sky-id to my sky account but it keeps tells me to enter a valid mobile number on my sky-id profile page. Keep entering my mobile number but it won't accept it ...disaster!
