Only bet as much as you can afford to loose.

    Tom Segal

Hyades 2.10 pm at Goodwood 9/1
Sugar Free 2.45 pm at Goodwood 13/1
Vital Plot 5.00 Galway Hurdle at Galway 9/1 withdrawn

    Racing Post just e-mailed
RACINGPOST.com Members will vouch that Pricewise Extra is running very hot and paying for their membership! Here's a few choice statistics from July 1 to July 27 2009:

    Number of bets/runners: 45
    Successful bets: 10
    Points invested: 52
    Return: 90.83
    Points profit: 38.83
    Return on Investment: 74.67%
    Strike Rate: 22.22%

This has included some big-priced winners like:
July 26 Invincible Force 10-1 adv (13-2 SP)
    July 23 Mudaaraah 13-2 adv (7-1 SP)
July 16 Raise Your Heart 7-1 adv (3-1 SP)
July 12 Just For Mary 20-1 adv (9-1 SP)

note 9 horses also placed, each of which would have returned a profit if you got on early. If you did a double
when possible on 5 days a double (all win/place or two places) would have paid extra dividends.

I have not included Tom Segal picks as they are not PW-E

Hope that'll anser a few questions for people who lurk may have about whether this is worth doing.

Just a quick question, why don't you subscribe surely it would make life easier.

Well between us (8-10, qc3 and me mainly) and we've done alright without spending a penny. Its not hard to work out the picks with a bit of patience.

I don't think it's Tom Segal 'on duty' today.

Does anyone have a breakdown of Pricewise under its various compilers?

Nope. That info is only available if able to see the write ups. Mel Collier tended to pick well as far as I remember, before the subscription was required to see everything.

Tom Segal does Price Wise in the paper and is on duty all week thanks to Goodwood and Galway.

    PW-E

    2.45 Goodwood Rowe Park 33/1
    3.25 Goodwood Centennial 11/1

    UPDATE 12.45
As far as can be told these are the selections, he must be going for a value each-way placed double cos I have difficulty seeing these trouble the likes of Borderlescott and Schiaparelli.

    rowe park 40/1 into 20/1 in 2.45

    still 35s on betfair

    Sugar Free 2:45 Goodwood, Win Boylesports 12/1 arrowRedRight.gif 10/1
    17%

    Bet365 14/1 arrowRedRight.gif11/1
    21%

    William Hill 14/1 arrowRedRight.gif 12/1

I think it might be Sugar Free in the 2.45. Moved as above and now in Top Ten on RP MarketWatch (598 bets)

Rowe Park has entered the Top Ten. Okay its still gaining bets as is Centennial

    Rowe Park 667 bets
    Centennial 667 bets

I really do think these two are the ones now. Any thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,838 ✭✭✭Nulty

Hey mike, I'm guesing your a RP Members Club subscriber...is there any chance you can post, in a new thread, the in running pointers or at least the predicted front runners of some races?? I reckon this is a great place to trade on betfair.

Lets hope centennial can do the business, did u go for rowe park mike

I thought Rowe Park ran really well. Just beaten for fourth place from what proved to be an unfavourable draw.

    Centennial ran like a non-stayer.

    Nope I'm not :)
Hyades 2.10 pm at Goodwood 9/1 unplaced
Sugar Free 2.45 pm at Goodwood 13/1 unplaced
2.45 Goodwood Rowe Park 33/1 unplaced
    3.25 Goodwood Centennial 11/1 unplaced

That was a disaster of a day, the only good news it that tomorrow must be better.

Hate when he does that. All will be forgiven if one wins though :)
