They're now giving the same points deal as Tesco but Tesco would work out better value when you factor in their club deals and the fact you can spend your points on anything in their supermarket. Also, if you spend your Tesco points on shopping and your own cash on phone credit, you save yourself pigsback surcharge for buying phone credit! Assuming you already shop at Tesco, which I do at least half the time.

The Tesco 3 for 2 is slightly misleading as you already get 1 for 1 with their clubcard. It's basically the same deal as pigsback are now offering but you have a lot more choice what to do with your points at Tesco and it can save you phone credit surcharges as I pointed out above.

The Halifax is a nice introductory offer but if they don't give you any points would work out worse than Tesco or pigsback. Unless you just open one to get the €100 and close it once it comes through though you have to put €1500 in your account for 3 consecutive months to get the €100.

Stupid, stupid move, pigsback. (Unless it's an April fool's joke, as that's when the change starts.)
