I was going to claim some of my Piggy Points back in a Tommy Hilfiger voucher, but they seem to be out of stock. Does anyone know if they'll be getting them back? The message on the site says:
Sorry, this reward is currently out of stock. We expect to have it back in stock soon.

Seems a little strange that they are out of stock...it's only a piece of paper

All depends on how much it's worth to you Davy to have your eggs cooked exactly right :pac::pac:

the rewards have really gone to hell since cdwow left. they told me they would have play.com vouchers last year but they never materialised !

I have my own little trick :p

I think everyone does know that the site has gone downhill quite considerably in all aspects. Companies are trying to advertise and do deals and offers more than ever, so you would think pigsback would have plenty willing to use there service

Apologies if it's not new but I hadn't noticed this section before. They have vouchers for discounts/deals locally based, not much of a range right now but it's good to see them trying to expand a bit

They no longer stock TH vouchers. WTF like lol, I have over 25,000 points and thought I could off load them for some.
Sent them a mail wondering when they would be back in stock and the reply was that they have now discontinued carrying them.

But they say they are in talks with others retail outlets.
    I won't be holding my breath :(

Seems they're out of O2 and Vodafone €20 credit as well, and have been for at least a week, which is a bit of a pain after it taking a month of Sundays to get that many points.:(

Anyone join Irish Opinions? They are pretty decent for surveys and not bad value time vs return wise. I've got about €80 in amazon vouchers off them in two years, most surveys are about €1.50 but have done some up to €7, they were mamooth tasks though! They are a little slow to credit the surveys to your account but not too bad overall. Test and Vote and Toluna are brutal, I don't go near them anymore.

Pigsback at the end of the day isn't the worst out there, credit card and vouchers are the best bits and I have benefited pretty well in the past from them, never really buy credit. My brother has just switched from bill to credit as he has about €250 worth of points in his account! Use the credit card to buy everything!

I got a load of piggy points added yesterday for using coupons. I used quite a few of the Hellmanns ones which were worth 100 points so got a nice few points.:)

Even though the supermarkets i've been to accept such vouchers with the money off, i've never once received the piggy points... so its obviously up to the supermarket to send them away to pigsback.. just wish the ones i go to would do it.. :S :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 120 ✭✭emmabo25

The supermarkets send them to the redemption houses to get their money back. They have to send them back otherwise they would be out of pocket. The redemption houses then pass the onfo onto Pigsback about who should be getting points. This is where things go awry. Pigsback states it is up to the redemption house so you don't always get them.

I think that we know how it works, but I have been a member of Pigsback since their first year and I have used tons of vouchers but NEVER got any points for the vouchers. In 2005, I got an email saying that they could see I was going to the vouchers page but cos I have never got any points for the vouchers, they awarded me 200 points -
As a frequent coupon user, you may not always receive your PiggyPoints. We've been having problems in this area, which we are currently addressing. As a way of saying sorry and to thank you for printing coupons we're going to give you 200 PiggyPoints.

They clearly still have issues with the points rewarding for using vouchers

Eh I was just replying to TootsMcToot as they thought it was the supermarkets fault when it is actually nothing to do with them.

I recently got awarded points for vouchers that I used ages ago. Supermarkets can be very slow returning vouchers.

Anyone know where to get the pigsback account numbers? I have a pigsback credit card and MBNA told me I need the account number but I can't see it

You have to contact Pigsback and get the number from them and then call MBNA...it is a pain, but that is the way we all had to do it!! You don't automatically get the points, but your credit card statement shows you the points so once you get them, you should get them back for months you have missed. If not, then contact Pigsback...again!
