Oh i am not happy

the yhad a comp today on that if you had 200 points you could claim one free pair of 450 pairs of tickets to go see a special preview of Star Trek. i logged on today before 14.00 and it had the message the comp will start at 14.00.

I came out and went back in at 14.01 and it said the event was fully booked but normal tickets were available to be booked on the UCI website. There is no way 450 people managed to beat me in the space of 1 minute to get these tickets.

So not happy.I smell something funny.!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Pigsback should really have much better bargains given the current economic situation. Anyone know why? Tied to certain companies?

I've been going to these free previews for years and I alway log on around 5mins before the time and keep refreshing the screen, they are always booked out in seconds...

    Got mine today tho :-)

They normally do go quick, but with a high profile movie like start trek, and not to mention that they have been advertising the screening for over 2 weeks now, so a lot of people were interested.

I agree, them selling out 450 tickets within a minute is total BS, I expect it was all just a marketing ploy

I see the Xtravision vouchers have been reduced from 625 to 500 points!

Pigsback have just removed the Best Vouchers off their site.
It says out of stock but they are gone - Got it confirmed in e-mail
    Hi there,

Thank you for your email. We regularly review our rewards catalogue, add and remove items and we do this in order to keep the catalogue fresh for members. Unfortunately we will not be stocking Best vouchers on the Rewards page for the time being.
    Sorry for any disappointment caused.

I'm getting mightily pi$$ed off at them now.
This is the second time this happened to me, built up a decent amount of points for some CD Wow vouchers the last time and the same stunt was pulled.
I wish they e-mailed members to let them know when a particular reward was ending.

The winner of the April competition for Pigsback.com credit cardholders was David O'Neill. Congratulations to David who won a whopping 10,000 PiggyPoints which have been credited to his PiggyBank.

Remember, Pigsback.com is offering all Pigsback.com credit cardholders the chance to win a massive 10,000 PiggyPoints every month. All you have to do is make a purchase on your credit card and you will automatically be entered into that month's draw.

But that is not the only exclusive we have for Pigsback.com credit cardholders. We are offering you the chance to order our new Pigsback.com laptop jackets two weeks before anyone else. The laptop jacket costs 1,750 PiggyPoints. So if you'd like to be one of the first members to order it, just click on the 'Take Up Offer' button below, then enter in your details and we will deduct 1,750 PiggyPoints from your PiggyBank and send you your new reward.

Cant wait to get my laptop bag before everyone else ;:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Me me me...who would bother
I did email Pigsback last week asking when and if we would find out who won the 10,000 points for the credit card.

Also, beware credit card users - to get the discount using your Pigsback credit card, make sure you say it to the staff in TGIF's., cos I completely forgot and realised when I saw the site during the week. I also brought this to Pigsback's attention and they said that they have asked TGIF to put a sticker up on the tils to remind the staff of the discount. I did point out that I had forgotten about it when paying..DOH!

Exactly, even if it was half way decent looking, but it looks terrible even if it is (free)

Sure if you bought it and used your laptop outdoors, you are paying to advertise for them!
This is the time that people are looking for bargains and the shop owners are trying to get people to buy, so I can't understand how they don't have better bargains or offers for us. There are plenty who would reconsider where they eat, shop, travel to if they think they are getting a bargain. But Pigsback are not pushing more and offer more points.

Since the credit card is now 1 point for every €2 I am finding it is taking me longer to get 10,000 piggypoints than it used to.
I did make use of the 1000 points for every hotel club booking recently though :D Hope I get my points.

Pigsback has reached an all-time low. I wouldn't want to see Bono, even if he came to my house.

We've got a Bono-fide whopper of a competition for you this week that'll have you on The Edge of your seat and make you as happy as Larry (Mullen Jr.) if you win! Guessed what it is yet?

    tab_blue_corner.gifWin U2 tickets!
    tab_blue_210x18.gifms_wk22_CulGreen_02.jpg spacer_white_380x2.gif
Do you Desire two tickets for U2's sold-out Croke Park gig? Think you're the One that has what it takes to get your hands on them? Then register with Cúl Green to be in with a chance - do it soon though because With or Without You they'll be gone!

Unfortunately no. Other reward card is the ryanair one but they make it awkward to use. Some people like the Tesco card. Its a good offer if you shop there, but they dont have online transactions which is to off putting for me.

I got a Pigsback Credit card in Feb and I'm still waiting on points :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,832 ✭✭✭robo

They are so bad with that!! The same happened to me, I was waiting for my points, then I emailed them and they told me to contact MBNA with my membership number, and eventually I got my points! You should get them all, but they won't start giving them to you unless you go looking for them.
Also, make sure when you do get them that you get 1 point for 1 Euro up to April and then it changed to 1 point per 2 euro. You will see on your online credit card statement how many points you are due.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 170 ✭✭Dors1976

Oh thanks for that. Will get on to them first thing :) Cheers.
