Probably a Des Cullen. They always put those cheap plastic plates on their cars.

I reckon it is, 80000 is the reg - Cullens usually have round numbers like that on luxury wagons

Is that a blurry picture or is the Ferrari actually that colour...

That's strange, because I'm sure this is the 360 I see on the N7/Parkwest and the Long Mile road (reg is familiar) and its red-red, not maroon.

A lovely Ferrari, but if it was my money i woulda went for a different colour

I see that ferrari nearly every day in Toughera service station near newbridge. A young guy driving it. Late twenties, early thirties. Lucky bastid.

longshanks, where did you see that maroon ferrari?

In Toughers Business Park - same place as Quazzie2002 mentioned above

Sexy young lady in an SLK55 AMG. One of them would have been enough to give me wood, the two together just pushed me over the edge.

Picture is pointless as it was parked under a broken street light and i ended up just throwing on the hazards in the middle of the road while I took the pic but was worth it... Mighty machine, Looked RHD but Cartell says it's LHD.

Got overtaken today by an Aston Martin Db9 coming out of Tralee, 09-KY-9 (custom reg number). It was one sweet machine and fair dues to the lad for having the balls to shell out over €150k in a recession he must be chuffed with himself.

His tax contributions on it will pay the dole for x amount of people a year :D. One sweet ride in the Kingdom!

I felt sheepish in my 3 series:(

Beside the point that the KY reg probably cost him 20k in depreciation.

    Nice spot Jono!

Doesnt the "standard" RS6 only have two oval exhausts?

This one looks like it has aftermarket exhaust from ABT. . .

    It do.

Also the wing mirrors aren't chrome? Is it an RS6 or a very good mock up?
Definately a sleeper whatever way you look at it!

I actually saw one of these in black in Ballsbridge not too long ago, 08 D on a Des Cullen plate.

I agree and it's true that he'll take a big hit on depreciation. It just makes the car a lot less desirable. A Dublin reg is the only way to go with a car like this. ;)

    Orange pilled.

I'd say when you can afford an Aston Martin in the first place a trivial thing like depreciation won't worry you too much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭tossy

+1 Plus its not as if he is not going to suffer massive depreciation anyway, plus only a very foolish man would pass up on buying a mint well minded car because it didn't have a Dublin reg (that is presuming it will be well looked after)

KY plate on any car is a death sentence. People won't buy Kerry plates second hand, only in Kerry, as the roads off any of the main roads are horrific (I should know, I spend plenty of time down there), and on top of that, your mates will be making KY jelly jokes for months to come.

Really, to have any hope of selling a DB9 afterwards, the owner would have to put a D plate on it. Not for snobbery, but for creating a wider audience when it comes time to look for a potential buyer.
