    Do I detect sarcasm?:D:P

Its about time someone made those videos, I was beginning to think I was going mad and the only one who thought she sang like that. It doesnt help when Im having a fit of rage in front of the telly and my other half says, oh I think shes very good. Its a moment of realisation and reminder of how different we definitely are!

I'm just sayin what everyone else is thinking, it's time to end it. :P

oh god that Diana video was priceless!!

I was gutted ruth went but I saw it coming she was never going to win its a popularity challenge I think its a pity the judges did not get to pick between the bottom two. Her version of 'always' was fantastic.

Eoghan just drives me mad i find it disturbing that they insist on styling him to look like a twelve year old theres something slightly peadopilic about it at this stage  him singing HSM was a clever ploy by Simon to get the tweeny vote allright but he is no longer a self respecting 16 year old

Diana reminds me of a girl called 'zyira' from rockstar supernova. a little quirky and an unusual voice. It works when she sings certain songs I liked her version of call me. However that type of voice does not work when the singer tries to sing a slow, clear song and tries to get every note on pitch so 'im not a girl' was a disaster from the word go. ironically zyira also sang 'everybody hurts' on the other show. Anyone notice how she had tuned down the hands this week? there was less face stroking. what does get on my nerves though is the 'pony trot' walk she does instead of dancing its v v strange. She lifts her knee up and walks like a trotting pony. and diana put some fecking shoes on its getting old. besides your legs will look beter in them!
anyone noticfe that on the results show they changed the section of 'everybody hurts' that they showed in diana playback when they were listing numbers to text? I dont remember them doing that before and hers was the only one different to the main show playback. made me wonder if they needed to up the votes for her

JLS second song was awful i was hoping they would do nsync or backstreet boys but noipe louis has sucked the creativity out of them and turned them into a white clad bunch of harmonisers and thought them to sway at a mike - such a pity i loved them the first few weeks.

Same Difference have called Diana Vickers "standoffish" after meeting her backstage at The X Factor.

The brother/sister duo spent time with this year's X Factor final six before performing on the show on November 22.

"We gave everyone a rose and a card backstage just to say good luck, because Leona did that for us last year and we thought it was really sweet," Sarah Smith told DS.

"Alexandra [Burke] came over and just started screaming and hugging us, it was mental."

However, they were disappointed by the reception they were given by 17-year-old Vickers, who has since progressed to the semi-finals of the ITV1 singing contest.

"Diana I have to say was a bit quiet and standoffish," Sean Smith said. "She certainly didn't do anything bad, but she didn't show us the same love everyone else did."

Sarah added: "Maybe she's a bit cool for school?"

Diana is too big for her boots (sorry she dont wear boots or shoes) she knows she has it in the bag

Theres no way with that lineup that they expect Diana to still be there.
She couldn't sing with any of those groups and not make a hames of it.

AAAAAAHHH! Hurray! Beyonce and Alex will be legends on the stage. Wow!!

Could be close, with Eoghan or JLS going this week... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So exciting.

Hope Diana gets eaten by a corned beef.

The fact that I'd be chuffed if JLS win, is an indicator of how awful I think Diana is.

    According to MTV.co.uk
X Factor contestants Alexandra Burke and JLS’s Aston Merrygold are struggling with throat infections.

Also the winners song has been chosen as Hallelujah .
The X Factor bosses have selected the song Hallelujah to be released by this year's winner, according to The Mirror.
The competition winner will perform the Leonard Cohen track during the final show.
Jeff Buckley's version on Hallelujah has also re-entered The Official Charts since it was performed on the talent show by favourite Diana Vickers (pictured above).
According to The Mirror, the remaining acts are angry that bosses have selected the song for the winner, due to Diana performing it in the past, to which judge Louis Walsh told Vickers she had "made the song her own".
The single will be released on December 15.

    Boyzone AND Take That? FFS!

Let me see if I can decipher this

    • Beyonce with Alexandra
    • Take That with Diana
    • Boyzone with Eoghan

Which means I think they expect JLS to get the chop in the Semi Final.

Saturday night was the first time I'd watched this since the auditions ended, and I couldn't believe how bad that Diana one was. Even more unbelievable was the way the judges sucked up to her, saying how brilliant she was! Are they deaf? She can't sing.

Diana's voice is unique. But that doesn't mean it's excellent. Her voice suits some songs, but she can butcher others.

Her "Call Me" performance was excellent. But her "Everybody Hurts" performance was terrible. I couldn't make out any of the words.

If she wants to continue singing, she needs to find a style which compliments her voice.

EDIT: Ruth shouldn't have gone. Eoghan was terrible.

You two must be from the deaf and dumb community, have you not heard her attempt to sing? You's must be tone-deaf!
