Ruth and Alessandra has been consistantly good from the beginning i hope they get to the final.

If the "voting leaks" are to be believed Alexandra and Ruth will have an uphill struggle in getting to the final.:( It's such a shame because it doesn't look like there is a chance the public can be swayed as I thought JLS were bloody awful on Saturday yet they still made it through (I would though give them the benefit of the doubt this time around and say that was Louis's fault).

I really think Dannii is holding fire with Ruth for this reason. The first week was No.1's and this past week was Best of British, two themes that would have played right into the hands of Ruth yet Dannii gave her underwhelming songs both times. Maybe I'm giving Dannii too much credit but I think she's been saving the best for last in regards to Ruth. As i said it's a risky game but she's just about got away with it so far.

To be fair they are Scottish and Northern Ireland which makes them British.

I hope Diana wins - her version of call me was better than the original imho. Alexandra is probably second best but i cant seem to warm to her. The rest are all meh. thanks god for sky plus when watching that show. I just record it, listen to all the songs and the last 10 minutes of the voting.

Never let minor details like consistency get in the way of promotion. Sure Rachel said she was singing a Mary J Blige song, and on both counts that ain't British.

Very interesting that they chose to get Louis' decision first and not start with Simon this time. When it got to Simon, he knew damn well that if he'd chosen Daniel to stay, Dannii would've brought it to deadlock. I think we can safely say that Daniel would've survived the deadlock as he's very popular, and Simon knew that and wasn't allowing it. Simon said in his comments that Daniel had sung his song very well. As the judges are supposed to vote purely on the basis of that performance, Simon should've kept Daniel (based purely upon his comment that Daniel sung well; no such positive comments about Rachel).

They're not restricted in the sing-off.

However, didn't Eoghan sing a George Michael song? Isn't he Greek??

But I was referring to the point about Leona singing a song by an Irish band, but yeah I know what you mean.

Anyone saying Leona's version of Run is ****e needs thier heads examined.

It might nor be to evryone's taste but wow o wow it never gets old, everytime I listen the emotion never wears off.
The original was good but Leona made this song her own and I am so glad she did this song.

She has got her 2nd No1 here defenately.

If it was a talent, and not popularity contest, then Alexandra, Ruth and Diana would be in the final

Take That have been forced to pre-record their appearance for Saturday's X Factor because they had already signed to sing on another show.

The group recorded their performance of new single 'Greatest Day' in advance to allow them to appear on another ITV programme in Manchester.

X Factor bosses will inform viewers that the performance is not live in order to avoid possible criticism.

"Originally the idea was to insert the pre-recorded performance into X Factor and make it seem like it was live," a source told The Sun.

"But with all the TV fakery and voting scandals, the producers decided it’s best to come clean."

JLS will perform 'Back For Good' on the Take That-themed week, while Rachel Hylton will cover 'Rule The World'.

Back for Good and Rule The World are two of my fav TT songs i really feel they are going to be butchered

In fairness, she's so pretty when she has the ole face put on, but every so often she goes pretty much barefaced (cuz she's like, you know, so "earthy" etc :rolleyes:). I think it's those pictures that have people wondering what all the fuss is about her stunning, astounding beauty.
Actually that fake hippy chick bullsh1t reminds me of Sandie Thom, who vanished into oblivion.
