Oh ok, I wouldn't consider them gimmicks myself, I think she was attempting to be folksy (kate bush, stevie nicks) and it didn't work.

When we see Cowell et al praising her we see them thinking young impressionable girl that will sell cds, shoes, shampoo etc to other young impressionable girls.

Yeah I see the gimmicks as the hand in her face, seriously watch the video for Hero they recorded, her bit is about 1.20 in, an it's literally like someone said to her 'do the hand thing for your bit'..I would love to see her sing naturally without trying to make her into someone

After the first week one of the judges (not sure who, think it was Louis though) told her when she does the thing with her hands its like a puppet show, and the next week she really tried not to do it, and it was really obvious she was deliberately trying not to and couldn't help herself. Therefore, I think its a natural thing she does. I do not think she is trying to be quirky for quirkiness sake. I really don't like when people do that. And I genuinely like Diana, I think she's great

I beg to differ. As I said in an earlier post she does have a natural quirk to her, but I think it's been overdone a bit. That's all. I would like to see her do well.

Been surprised tonight by Eoghan, he proved he isn't all high school musical. He's good.

Anyone able to answer my question about Daniel..is that earring a new thing? iI know they gave eoghan one earring, then went for two, but Daniel?

Yeah I think that was what the whole sitting on the stage was supposed to do. Clearly didn't work though. She did it in Boot Camp as well iirc. It was Dannii that mentioned it as well I think.

Also, is it blatently obvious that, regardless of the two of them dismissing the rumours, Eoghan and Diana fancy eachother or is it just me?
