    I use Fedora 9, Ubuntu 8.04 and Windows XP..

    Also, whats in L125? Computer Building, Level 1, Room 25! (Practise makes perfect!)

    I may get the location right in practise but in application I'll be the one holding the map upside down standing in the middle of the grass asking for directions..

    UNIX != linux.
    Will used the wrong phrase >_>

    A lot of people who use linux are pricks to people who use other OSes. Superiority complex.

    AND

    OSX is *nix so it is quite similar to linux :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 589 ✭✭✭irish_boy90

    I only use windows XP
    yup I'm a pro :D

    I dn't see the point of getting different ones, seems more hassle than its worth, feel free to tell me why I'm wrong and how different Os will change my life.

    I know linux is ment to be good and there should be no virus problems with them...no idea how it would effect my applications though :S

    I'm not a prick! :D People can use what they want, I just prefer Open Source..

    As for your apps, IB90, some programs aren't compatible with open source software.

    It's quite annoying actually. If you start one thing in Windows you can't transfer comps..

    It's the mistake in calculations. If you go from an initial (low) pitch by a cycle of tuned fifths, leapfrogging twelve times, you'll reach a pitch approximately seven octaves above the starting pitch. If this pitch is then lowered seven octaves, the result is a tiny fraction higher than the initial pitch.. I think.. :P :D
