    I liked it a lot.
but one thing that really bothered me was the Sylar-Claire thing. Why didnt he just pin her up against the wall as soon as he got there? Incredibly Dumb.

And know we at least know Sylar doesn't eat the brains. Fun.

I was also really weirded out by that turtle.

I thought she only wanted him to think she was his mother

Brilliant opening to the season. Can't wait for the next episode.

Pretty good alright! Coulda done without a lot of the evil peter and tracy strauss crap though. Why doesn't Pete just morph and get the hell out of there?
The police video in the car of them going after Sylar was cool :)
I cringed so much when Matt started talking to the turtle, I thought heroes had hit a new low!
Good ep, looking forward to the next, for a change :)

Oh and Mohinder and Maya, just **** off already!

That turtle was awesome. Shut up.

By the way if you missed any of it the premiere is being replayed on G4 tonight (USA Only).

I thoroughly enjoyed that! Great to see Sylar back on form, and loved the "Claire, that's disgusting" bit.

I think Heroes is back on form so far anyway.

Bloody hell, it's turning in to Lost, so many different plot elements and characters that it's becoming very confusing, especially having not seen the previous series since it first aired.

good start, dear god maya is hot

Thought it was very good on the whole, bar a few small things

As was said, the Claire/Sylar scene was a bit dumb, but ended well. It was small things that annoyed me about it - eg why Claire could't grow her skull back, why Sylar didn't hear her coming before she stabbed him, why he didn't just pull open the door with his powers etc etc. Just nitpicking I know, but how and ever. Also big plus point of the Claire story - no West!

Mohinder has been changed into a more interesting character. I was a bit unconvinced at him becoming suddenly hungry for powers when before it was always about finding a cure. It will be interesting to see what he becomes now, though, and if he'll become a villain, or devolve into some sort of beast.

Future Peter thing was a little confusing, but good on the whole. I guess one of the main arcs of the season will be him dealing with the consequences of changing the past, while Present Peter struggles with the crazies let loose from the Prison.

I wonder if Tracy is (was?) actually Nikki or not....? If not she must be some form of twin (ridiculous sounding I know). Or else someone else with a power of illusion or transformation. I thought at first it was just Nikki acting. Then Nikki with some sort of memory loss. Then some other split personality of Nikki. But the ice power was a bit of a surprise. It may have been a latent power of Nikki's all along (which would explain where Peter got the ice power at the end of season 1), but you never know.

Hiro and Ando's arc was a bit weak I thought, but hopefully will get better. Dunno if I like speed girl (daphne was it?) but her "boss" sounds more intriguing. The future vision was typically apocalyptic, but it was interesting to see Ando with a power.

Questions - did Linderman actually heal Nathan? It seems to be suggested that Nathan is just imagining him, but if so, who healed him?

And remind me, how did Noah end up in the prison too?

think he went to see sylar in the prison and sylar broke free but not before locking him in there, was near the end of season two

i wonder whats gonna happen to kirsten bells char now that she is out on her own...

but at least sylar didnt kill her

Am I the only one feeling slightly disappointed by the first two episodes ? I was expecting Heroes to come back with a bang. It failed to deliver for me. Now that is my personal opinion.

There was a few positives to take from the first two episodes though. I enjoyed the new bad guys at the end. I think these three/four will be essential to the progression of the show.

Linderman , The question here is : Is he just a figure of Nathans imagination or is he actually there. Should really try to phrase that question better.

Anyway , I shall be reserving judgement until i see the next couple of episodes.

Sylar got the Ice power in one of the webcomics, which is what he displayed for his mother. When he used it at the end of season 1 iirc that was when Peter inherited it.

On the contrary I found the Hiro arc to be great. They picked a good nemises for him.

Who the hell knows. Linderman is meant to be dead isnt he? Maybe his power made him into a living spirit.
And remind me, how did Noah end up in the prison too?
Im pretty sure that happened at the end of season 2.

it said "special guest star kristen bell", she not a main character any more?

    actually, (from tv.com) next episode:
"Hrg Will Have A New Partner; Hiro & Ando Track Daphne To Germany; Tracy Strauss Searches For Answers About Niki; 4 New Villains Introduced"
Wonder who his new partner will be

Pretty enjoyable all round, bar the usual moments when you wonder why they didn't use their powers in a certain way.

Mohinder's perchance for idiocy never disappoints...

I assume Nikki's power is something to do with opposites - first it was herself and her mirror/opposite. Then she gets trapped in fire, so her power manifests itself in its opposite - ice.

Fell asleep during episode 1, didn't move onto episode 2. Not a good sign!

Will go back and watch them over the weekend but what I saw of episode 1 left me feeling all kinds of underwhelmed.

    Ah well!

    Good theory ixoy.

Great episodes overall.... lots of nice glimpses of the future which are bound to come true in some form or another.

What bugged me the most - For Nathan's shooting at the start, why the f**k didn't the cops at the back of the audience not grab Peter? They were right beside him, he shot an unsilenced gun so it was obvious who did it, but they seemed more interested in rubbernecking....

Good episode(s) although a little convoluted; that said, it was to be expected as it sets up the plot for the season.

I'm hoping this season marks the end of Mohinder and his wh0re, as beautiful as she is.

Just watched the first two episodes. Much better than Season 2, but that was to be expected I think!

The Mohinder story is the one thing I hated about the first 2 episodes. Hopefully it will get better or he will die because he's really starting to annoy me! (I wont hold my breath!)

yes i hope he's killed off soon as he super annoyed me too, seemed a little quick to switch him to the dark side really just like that, like oyu blink now he's bad and stoopid

Did anyone else think claire looked especially hot in the future?

    Courtesy of Wikipedia.

In "Truth & Consequenes", second last episode of Season 2, Mohinder tells Noah Bennett that he was revived with Claire's blood and that Claire is at home, thinking he is dead. During the episode, with Noah still in the hands of The Company, Bob visits the Bennet's home with an urn telling them that it contains Noah's ashes.

In "Powerless", the last episode of Season 2, Noah returns to his family, clearly shocking them all as he is allegedly dead. He tells them that he was brought back using Claire's blood, and that he made a deal with The Company which will allow his family to lead a normal life with one condition—he must stay with the company. Noah then leaves his family.

    Cue Season 3.

    ;)

Ah ok so im not the only one wondering how he got to wher ehe is in s3 :pac:

For me the Niki Sanders line is the most interesting so far as is parkman's maybe as theres more mystery to those

Indeed; regarding Parkman - the age old mystery of who ate all the pies is on the verge of being solved :pac:

Regarding Niki, I'm not sure if this is known or not about Niki and her abilities etc, so if you do not want to know or haven't figured it out/guessed something along these lines, do not read the following.
Niki's body contains alternate personalities. Each personality has a different ability. So, one can assume Tracy Strauss has taken control as the prominent personality and therefore would/could have a separate power to that of the personalities of Jessica, Niki, Gina.

this is exactly why i think she's the most interesting

Two great episodes, they're keeping the plot pumping along nicely this season. Having a gang of villains to fight will give new life to the show, after two seasons of the heroes mostly fighting Sylar.

The new direction for Mohinder is a welcome change - hopefully he'll evolve into a time-travelling, talking turtle and that really was him talking to Parkman. The serum that gave him his powers will presumably give Ando his as well. Wonder what would happen if someone who already had powers took it?

Weird new direction for Nikki though - wonder what happened to Micah and Monica? Were they killed when the building blew up? Fingers crossed.

Best of all, Claire is back in my life! \o/

Me too, but I watched ep 2 and it held my attention alot better than the first one.

Plenty of interesting stuff going on, especially the Sylar bits. Mohinder can definitely fùck off as soon as possible, although he did do the best thing he's done in any episode so far, namely Maya ;)

Anyone notice Marlo from the Wire in there? I also saw Andre Royo's (Bubbles) name credited but didn't notice him in the episode at all!

I think Monica might have gone ka-boom. Micah wasn't in the building though and is credited in the episodes. Sorry, Agamemnon ;)

How the hell did they go from her being blown up to being an important aid to some senator? Tracy Strauss has been there in that position for a while, got the nick name ice queen cause of her personality and got ice powers. That can't be Nikki.

The two episodes were too convoluted and became very boring like season 2. So many dumb moments with characters acting out of character or just not using their powers intelligently.

Mohinder acts like an idiot and that's even before he injected himself. Nathan acts like an idiot who found god. Hiro acts like an immature idiot. Claire is a now an emo. Sylar's now going to be Angela's puppy who'd be used against the other bad guys judging from her vision. The new escaped villains are just evil caricatures, boring. Mr. Bennett playing the hero for no reason cause the company would most likely go after the escapees. Oh and the real Peter is disabled...again...boring.
