Anybody hear anything about new Pay as you Go price plans due to be announced tmrow? A lady working for Meteor said its supposed to be excellent and to rival o2. Apparently.

Its unlikely ill switch, I used them for a while for the company number but Call Forwarding stopped working and their support was awful. Im a loyal o2 Customer :D

their support is nowhere near as bad as 3's

Well let's get the ball rolling with some guesses as to what these payg plans may be like...until someone can confirm something of course.

If they are to compete with O2 the obvious ones would be to offer free texts to any network OR free calls and texts to 10 meteor customers. Personally I'd rather the free texts to any network

can somebody try this if you are a meteor payg customer:

log into my meteor and tell me what it says under "my account" on the left...this is where it normally says the name of your tariff...but for my spare payg sim it now says:
"Pre-Pay Leisuretime Plus No Twister "
What's this "No Twister" thing about????

    Has anyone else seen this?

maybe twister is what they are calling their new payg addons or something that they are launching, such as free calls or texts for a fee per month

Me too, but if photographic memory serves well, it seems that their graphics at that side of the page have changed

Looks spruced up a bit alright. No sign of any new PAYG price plans.

Seeing as I'm on the "Phone a friend for free for life" offer they'd want to come up with something very decent to make me switch.

I've been with metoer form the begining and my paln is Pre-Pay Anytime - Original.

It used to be just Pre - Pay Anytime.

It would be nice to get some new offers as I have been thinking of changing my plan.

no absolutly nothin to do with it, as i said twister is the old promotions for old tariffs, they dont come into play anymore thats why the likes of anytime xtra will only come up as anytime xtra

lets just say the new offer will not be beaten by any network unless they just give you everything for free
So all calls and texts are gonna be 0.000000000000000000000001c. That's pretty sweet. Thanks.

Spoke to a few people on the trial and their plans all say twister now on the website. They didn't beforehand as far as I know.

Why would it suddenly show up in the last while then? Why would it show up for someone only on the Meteor network for 2 months? How coulud they have an old promo ?

it could show up if they have free texts on the anytime tariff but wouldn on the anytime xtra tariff. this is because the system for the free texts is still the same as back in the day but i gaurentee its nothing related to 3g

Alright so, if you say so. I have no basis for my theory other than observation.

you're probably just loving all the attention perfect fit...who wouldn't lol......but can you not give us a hint or a tiny detail

i think this is more exciting than the impending iphone 3g launch. simply because meteor launch something new once a year at the most!! just like the adverts from months ago being repeated, cmon how old is the advert with the dog for the free calls to your best friend?
