Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Second one i think is in Trim?
    I'm afraid not.
and the last one is Larch hill gardens?
Correct! :) It's the 'Gibraltar' folly at Larch Hill.
Ive seen the big house before but dont know about that small one
The first photo's a bit of a cheeky angle: most people will be familiar with the featured building, albeit viewed from elsewhere. That's a bit of a clue, I think!

Headfort School in Kells? The back entrance to Slane Castle when you cross the bridge?

Neither of your guesses represent any of my photos, I'm afraid.

By the way, the entrance to Slane Demesne at the bridge is technically the front entrance. The entrance on the Navan road is the back entrance. That's why the estate farm is located closer to the back entrance, whereas the avenue leading from the front entrance is landscaped and what have you.

    I stand corrected. :(

Is Gamma in Julianstown? The old schoolhouse along the main road?

Yes, well done. :) I don't think it was a schoolhouse, but rather a former police barracks.

Just alpha and beta left. Clues for those. Alpha is a very famous house, but from behind rather than from in front. Beta is right in the centre of a Meath town. I'm completely shocked no one's got it yet.

Well done! :) What's especially interesting there are the eighteenth-century kerbstones, which are very pretty.

Just alpha left. A significant, major, historical house in the centre of Meath. As I said, it's an unusual angle. If you can't get it, I'll give a front shot of the house.

It's not Bellinter. A broadly similar style, albeit alpha is larger and older.

I am at a loss myself, I'll go with Beauparc House as a guess?

It's not Beauparc, I'm afraid. I think I'll give it and let someone else put up a photo! Alpha is Ardbraccan House, the former seat of the Bishops of Meath.

I have a picture of the sign, and I still cant spell it, never mind say it.

Would anyone object if we allowed more than one picture to be open at any one time? I havent a clue where Bitemybanger's one is from, and it may be a while before someone gets it. Might help the thread keep ticking over if there are 2 or 3 running simultaneously.
