If Dan is correct that the stealthsim works with the 1.1.3 baseband then in theory
You should be able to buy a 1.1.3 otb downgrade it to 1.1.1 jailbreak etc then use Nates jailbreak to get you back to 1.1.3 jailbroken then insert the stealthsim and you should have a working iphone also because you are on the 1.1.3 baseband ie 04.03.13 then googlemaps features should work as well with out any trickery with navizon

Thats in theory anyway might be worth talking to Dan about how confident they are that the stealthsim works on the 04.03.13 baseband firmmware

The official Dev team release and the ibrickr method do not touch the baseband firmware.
That is where your anysim or IPSF software hack is located so it does not touch it and your phone will continue to be unlocked using those methods

Sorry i ment it DOES withstand the update, Stephen is going testing the Stealth Sim today with a 1.1.3 baseband to see does it withstand it.

I no everyone wants to get there iphone working etc but why are people paying 129 euro for fake turbo sims, i mean you can get supersim hypers sims iphonesimfreer sims for about 50 euro! Bit of a joke if ya ask me.They are making about 90 euro profit on each one sold.

right so this is a sweet kick to the nads!!!!!!!!!

I was messing around trying to install Summerboard via SSH, I rebooted smb loaded up a blank screen and then went back to springboard. So i went back into ssh changed the permissions on the springboard plist, rebooted and my phone has now hanged at the silver apple logo

Please tell me I dont have to go all the way back to 1.1.1 and work back up to 1.1.3 as my phone is 1.1.2 OTB?????

Have you tried to ssh back in

connection might still be up just you can not see the springboard

you could check in your router to see if it still has an ipaddress

Can't understand it myself the other huge downside is that these people have no idea what they are buying so have no way of knowing if the "X" sim they have is compatible with 1.1.3 baseband or any other baseband release in the future.

Dealextreme are even cheaper again than 50 euro

yep that did the trick alright, springboard prob just didnt boot up. connection was still open though

Steps are very unclear though, I tried placing the files in there appropriate folders with SSH but thats how the phone hanged. I got lucky that the net connection was still open!

Ive a feeling SMB code needs to be modified as there sliding boards probably clashes with the 1.1.3 sliding boards.....

Best to wait for SMB update me thinks, wasnt looking forward to downgrading all the way to 1.1.1 and back up again, would of been a fun sunday for me.... ha ha

Eh.... Dont try customize either... same thing, right im gonna stop messing with SSH now, somethings bound to go wrong. Ill just leave it to the coders...

Hey just wondering could you help me out with my ringtones. I downloaded 'sendsong' yesterday and it looked like the program worked ok. As in i was able to select the songs i wanted to be ringtones and they would appear in the sound settings as 'custom' ringtones.

But then when anyone rings the phone it still rings with one of the standard tones even though i have a custom ringtone selected...

Any ideas?

Power off and back on the phone won't check the contents of the folder till it boots back up so even though the ringtones are there the phone has not seen them yet

after upgrading to 1.1.3 I changed the version number in this file back to 1.1.2.

Apparently this is the file installer looks to for the version info of the phone.

through WinSCP:

Root / system / library / CoreServices / Systemversion.plist

at the bottom of the file you'll see the version number change the 3 to a 2 and away you go.

Obviously try apps from installer at your own risk I havent tried anything other than summerboard and I can confirm it works!!

It appears to work better on phones that are 1.1.2 otb that have no alteration to their baseband than those with a hacked baseband

issues are being addressed but they include/d

Maps locate me does not work
Phone locking up
Contacts not recognised in SMS and caller ID
Ringtones not working
Edge settings not saving
Wifi password not saving

It's absolutely disgraceful how i've been treated! You've taken 599 euro from me but can't be arsed to confirm my order, answer an email or answer the bloody phone.

I emailed regarding whether the stealthsims through your site were for UK O2 iPhones or if they would only work for US AT&T iPhones but to no reply....
