that Rover used to be in Limerick for many years. I used it a lot in those years. Still looks good.

    Nice find!

... but not quite a Vantage ;) ... it would have had flared wheel arches, deeper front spoiler and higher lipped tail

well, this could have been put in modified or classic section, but it's nicely done.

Athenry, last week. FS, too, but you'd better be sitting down when you hear the price........!!

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Yeah the Mk1 is a sweet car indeed !

I dont like the non period wheels though, they ruin it ! A nice set of RS wheels or Revolutions would be super cool there !

if that came from a rust-free country then my guess is €18000

It's on New Zealand plates, so it's most likely fairly rust-free.

I agree totally, 4 spoke rs alloys would be perfect under her, and if a chap wanted to go another little bit, then the navy rs2000 decal set along the sides would be nice, but getting carried away now... :)

But g'on, frighten us with a figure...

Spotted a silver 85-WX Renault 18 Estate in Harold's Cross today. No picture as I was cycling the at time. It was in rather rough condition, the wheel arches had more holes in them than a sieve!

Sorry no pics as I was driving but there was a formally immaculate silver Karmann Ghia at the Ratoath exit onto N3 this afternoon. It had just been in a knock, front bumper, bonnet and wing damaged.
Lots of cars leaving Fairyhouse so maybe a pic shows up.

On the way to Cavan yesterday I spotted a gold Citroen GS in Ballinasloe, spotted it again on the way home, Irish reg, doesn't it belong to someone here?

Saw a green and white Triumph Herald , might have been a coupe at a car dealer near Oranmore on Saturday

@ Wishbone - the guy who drives the Dodge truck is a guy i know, neighbour of my wifes. Its fully kitted out with top of the range ICE, as in thousands of watts  Its used as a gig-rig at Red Bull promo's. The truck originally served in WW2, but has a fantastic V8 burble now :D

    nice Merc too!
