@ Wishbone - the guy who drives the Dodge truck is a guy i know, neighbour of my wifes. Its fully kitted out with top of the range ICE, as in thousands of watts  Its used as a gig-rig at Red Bull promo's. The truck originally served in WW2, but has a fantastic V8 burble now :D
Thanks for that tc20 (that engine has some poke in it alright - it took off like the clappers).

Yeah. Me too. There was writing on the window 'Tow off Boat' - so unless it was somebody with a dislike of big cars, im guessing it was just off the ferry :D

I thought you would like this one :) I took it before the summer in Dublin, near the river. It happens to all of us. Those traffic wardens have no respect for elders ;)

No pics unfortunately as i was driving, but a beauty of a Cadillac, 70 WW xxx,
with a white convertible hood, and a sort of a dusky pink colour (hard to describe colour actually). Spotted northbound on the N11, just before Shankill exit.

Pity it was being loaded onto the back of a breakdown truck tho' :(
Someone here must know of it.

Very nice old roller on Sandymount stand today - unfortunately the light was going so the photo isn't great...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 408 ✭✭Spit62500

Wonder who owned it originally - can't have been too many Rollers bought in Ireland around 1970...

To put it politely - the driver was contemporary with the car (an older chap - could be the original owner?)

I'd say when that Roller was new it was most likely to have been chauffeur driven.
