You hit the nail right on the head. Its about a persons own attitude to sex. If you can see it as just a bit of fun (and you are careful), then go right ahead. If you see it as someting more (associating it more with love, as Blue Lagoon does), then you should wait a while. The only problen after that is other peoples opinions on what is "right" or "wrong" - but then thats the problem with most things in the world, isn't it?

In my experience, after a one nighter most guys will be gone with no interest in seeing you again for a date. That's grand most of the time. Sometimes there's a nice one though that you might have liked to see again.

Anyway I'm pushin a big bday soon and I've lost interest in that kind of thing just for the sake of it.

It all depends on the people really. I think it's not necessarily a good thing to shag on the first date if you want a relationship. There are men out there who, while they'll happily take what's on offer, will assume that because their female dates put out for them on the first date, that they have done the same for others. It can become all about the sex and nowt else if it comes into the equation too early. I say go for it on the second date though :cool:

Well I had sex with my boyfriend the first night I met him and we're still together two years later. I always find things are less complicated when you get the first time having sex thing out of the way early!

Had sex on the first date with my ex-bf and that lasted a year.

men (being one myself) when we go out at the weekend were only looking for a warm hole, at the end the of the day, the more drink we have the more our standards drop. we will try our luck on any girl that will pay attention- being that, a girl that puts out on the first night, 9/10 is being boned coz the guy doesnt like u, he wud rather put a notch on his belt than go home & have a drunking knuckle shuffle.

I think that sleeping with someone on the first night takes away all the romance. I think you should get to know the other person a little more first. I reckon that anyone who has sex on the first day is used to doing that and you never know how many people that person was shagging before you. Nothing worse than sloppy seconds :eek:
