Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. The name's Noel - and I'm another of those North West travellers...originally from Sligo, and have lived in Galway, Dublin and Belfast....and now my family have gone and broken my heart by moving to Co. Leitrim ;)

I'm currently splitting my time between Belfast and Sligo, but would love to move back full time. So if anyone hears of any good software jobs in the greater Sligo area, let me know!!!!

Hey i'm Enemy Of Fate.I'm 17 and doing my Leaving Cert (its so ****ing close!Only 63 days left till it starts!).I've lived in Ballybofey, Donegal for the past 9 years, and before that I lived in Newbridge in Kildare for 8 (was actually born in Stockport, Manchester but I only lived there for 6 months).

Anyways i'm a serious gaming addict with a GBA-SP, PS2, PSP, Gamecube and a 360.I'll play pretty much any type game (with the exception of any sport games and realistic racing games), although I have a serious RPG addiction (at the minute i'm playing Star Ocean 2 on the PSP.God the PSP's emulation rocks!!I'm also playing Okami at the minute which kicks large amounts of ass).

I have you now. You want to put a chastity belt on your missus cause she's a bit over zealous in the bedroom. After doing that you want to wear a wig!!! ;)

Ok, I'll start by posting with a bried intro. I'm Kev, currently living for the last 6 yrs in rural Shropshire, England. I'm mulling over a job offer (I'll accept it) to work in Letterkenny. From what I've read so far, Letterkenny seems to be the kind of location we want since it's in a rural county, but with enough modern amenities.

But sure I un-slapped you after you give me the brown envelope. ;) And no thats not a record :). I got a guy attempting to advertise recently and had him banned before he even got to state what he was advertising (if that makes sense). One of the Smods then site banned him.

    Welcome aboard.

What, in the name of all that is good and holy, is a smod. And where is the charter? I cannae find it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,304 ✭✭✭✭muffler

What, in the name of all that is good and holy, is a smod. And where is the charter? I cannae find it.
Mods = Moderators - the people charged with looking after each forum and can perform various modding functions in their own forum only.

SMod = SuperMod - a step higher than mods and have control and can act or perform modding duties in any forum

Cmod = Catagory Mod - similar to a mod but they look after an entire catagory which is made up of various fora.

Admins = the bosses. There are 5 of them and they own the site and have the final say on any issue.

The charter is here. Each forum will have its own charter but most are essentially the same. There is a main set of rules for boards.ie and if I can locate it I will post a link.
