on that site for nov 15th it has leya listed as playing. on four tets official site however, it claims that four tet will be in cyprus av that very night.

care to shed some light on this?

please god let the cyprus avenue site be wrong!

four tet gig is in Club One that night, the Russian Futurists and North Atlantic Oscillation support.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 342 ✭✭treefingers

actually, in different parts on the same page of the four tet site it says four tet will be in both cyprus avenue and club 1 on the same night nov 15th.

    even more confusion....

I think the last few months gig wise in Cork have been pretty brutal, and now usually october and november are pretty good but personally I don't see a whole lot that i'd be into in that list. Saw Four Tet support Radiohead a few years ago, definitely wouldn't be my cup of tea. Where are the indie groups and international singer songwriters? Bands i would like to have seen The Delays and The Zutons are doing Irish tours but skipping Cork. Sufjan Stevens plays the Village, i thought he could have been a candidate for a Cork date but no unfortunately. I'll have to settle again for the local (Irish or Cork acts) and the familiar (acts that play here a lot) brigade....
