Where did this come from? Just checked Priority Pass app and it's only the Liffey lounge in Dublin airport listed. T1 lounge is also listed but closed due to the refurbishments

Might be old information. They stopped offering the option to book into the lounge with cash a while back (about 2/3 years ago).

Its from a random tourist info website, that is out of date despite the "current 2025" stuff.

Priority Pass doesn't list the EI lounge in T2 - are you confusing that with the Liffey Lounge?

Can anyone let me know their experience of the aerlingus lounge? Apparently it's included in my credit card but have one ever booked Martello or Liffey, What's the main difference

Martello is smaller but legions ahead of the aer Lingus lounge in terms of food

It’s complimentary to Ethiad, emirates and Qatar business class so must be quieter at the moment

However the T1 lounge is shut so there’ll be some over flow from there

The aer Lingus lounge is free to you so I’d advise going there anyway as you’ll pay north of €40 per person for the martello

Flew business this week long haul to Asia via European airport. Long day ahead of me to be told after checkin that the T1 Business lounge is closed for renovation, here's a 20euro voucher for food. After security I took a left and headed to the Lounge in T2. They told me I couldnt use it as I was T1 lounge. I went back to T1, ordered a coffee on my 20evoucher. Handed over the voucher, but the cashier could not give me change or issue me a new voucher. So 20e voucher for a coffee.

The ticket cost my company almost $8,000. Bad form from Dublin Airport not allowing the use of T2 lounges while T1 is closed. There were no middle east flights so the T2 lounge would have been quiet.

It’s not much consolation but not just $8k tickets impacted, same when I flew twice in the last month on euro business flights however LH actually sent compensation so you could chance your arm depending who you flew with?

Is the T2 DAA lounge ,the Liffey lounge allowing dragon pass or priority pass in at the moment given how crowded things are at the moment does anyone know?

DAA shared images of the new lounges on X

Martello20 was giving a discount a few days ago for Martello lounge, might still be available if booking this month

Flying to ORD with AA in May and somehow got a notification to say 51st&Green is now open after renovations. So it is €42 PP booked online or €50 PP if you just show up.

So 2hr max stay and two comp drinks+ hot breakfast buffet included is it worth it? I've never gone through CBP so not aware if you can get something to eat and drink once cleared CBP.

There are a few food options after CBP. I quite like the pub/restaurant they have. There's also a coffee/sandwiches place which I haven't tried.

Is 51st and green worth it? Dunno. I've used it a few times when it was quiet and found it nice enough. Bright and spacious. Nice views of the tarmac. The coffee barista was very good. It was really nice being able to have a shower before the flight. Food offerings are nicer than the Aer Lingus lounge but otherwise fairly average. I wouldn't bother if there was a queue for the place like I've seen on some occasions. I'm not sure what it's like since the revamp.

Well if there is a pub/restaurant after CBP that would do the both of us. Thanks for the reply.

The two drinks limit is gone from 51st since it reopened , though I'm not sure it was heavily enforced beforehand.

Very poor selection of drinks when I was there on the 31st, they said they were waiting on deliveries.

A person would think that would be a priority for opening day.

Food and seating are far higher priorities. A very large percentage of fliers don't drink alcohol at all while they travel. But almost everyone eats and sits.

Here it is after the revamp
just new seats and a better hot food selection from what I can see

I really don't get lounges. Unless you are planning to wait a few hours during a connection or something. I prefer to fly direct whenever possible and show up relatively soon before the flight so it's boarding shortly after I arrive. Why would I want to spend any longer in an airport than I have to?

As for food. Sure I'll be getting food on the plane shortly after we takeoff, at least for long haul.

I was in a lounge as a plus 1 in Spain recently and had a coffee which was absolutely vile so I left to get one at Pret instead so that's saying something.

Maybe only worth it if you're not actually the one paying for it but rather your company or whatever.

The new T1 phoenix lounge is a sight to behold

    It’s massive

It looks and feels like an American airlines flagship lounge

You enter directly from new fast track area and upstairs into it

No duty free area to walk through

The fast track has moved into the general security area ,you’ll spot it once you go in

The old stairwell entrance is still there but spruced up

The only gripe I would have is that there are no airfield views - you can’t see any aircraft movements which is a a shame.

They do claim that you can take in views stretching across the terminal and out to the runway - that is very misleading.

You can see the car parks and the spiral ramps but that’s it.

However, the food choice is excellent and it’s very spacious which is brilliant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,123 ✭✭✭pureza

Agreed on the no runway views

They had little choice in that though unless they ran it up to the old EI lounge but Zi can’t remember if that had runway views

The view they’ve given looks out towards the bus stop area and the church

I think they’ve used the old landside upstairs restaurant area?

Does anyone know if they plan on accepting priority pass again there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,005 ✭✭✭LiamaDelta

Is there two fast-track areas now? I got an email to say that I should head upstairs to the mezzanine area for my flight next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,123 ✭✭✭pureza

    Only one

    The old one is gone

So you head up to the Mexzanineu

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,123 ✭✭✭pureza

They’re accepting dragon pass so I’d imagine they’re also taking priority pass

I went in with my Revolut ultra which uses dragon pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,678 ✭✭✭VG31

Dublin Airport isn't even an option for me on Revolut lounge passes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,752 ✭✭✭Nolimits

The poster you replied to mentioned they were on ultra. I'm on metal and it's not an option for me either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,615 ✭✭✭bikeman1

Can you not just purchase a dragon pass and then use that when you are there? Worked for me before.

Ultra gives a full dragon pass sub unlimited

    Metal doesn’t

It still comes up on my ultra lounge list as the T1 lounge

It didn’t early last week, there was a note to say it was closed for refurbishment and would reopen in spring

Yesterday however that note was gone and a qr code was generated straight away for me
