I don't eat any flavoured yoghurt so maybe that is why I found them so sweet. I've tried the flavoured protein yoghurts before & I just feel ill eating them.

How did you find the sugar detox?

I've fallen off the wagon and I think I've put on 3lb in a week. Feck.

I suppose that's the point of a journey to get a few loop de loops in..

I actually found it reasonably straightforward. I dont really have much of a sweet tooth normally, but had eaten way more sweet things than normal over Christmas so by the time I needed to get my act together I was actually glad of a reason to cut out sugar. I never use it in tea/coffee anyway so it really just meant cutting out junk for the most part.

I'm actually now at the stage were plain porridge with a small drop of no added sugars almond milk tastes reasonably sweet to me.

I've no doubt that I'll start having the odd little treat again but will do my best to not overindulge and spoil all the good work.

The good news is there is little chance you ate enough to gain 3lbs. It’s most likely water retention and bloatingness. It’ll come off no problem.

Just finished a 36 hour fast so the drop today is mainly water. With the current situation I am trying hard to avoid comfort eating.

The fast isnt really a weight loss thing, though I am sure it could help, my wife does it once a month and it just easier if we both do it. We have done 48 hours before but neither were feeling it. The thing is my wife eats normal the day after breaking the fast, I'm sure I eat more in that day than I would have in the fasting period.
