I am still waiting for Garda Vetting to complete. I received the email from the National Vetting Bureau to say it has been received. That was 1 week ago. I am expecting it to take at least another week, that would be 10 working days min.

I got an email for an official offer on Friday, though I'm still waiting on my Garda vetting to complete. I assume there was some christmas time backlog, maybe references are taking a while to clear?

I've emailed just to see if there's any news and I've moved up a good few places so maybe some people in the data stream got places in the other streams

I think that’s the reason for moving up too probably because same people got hired in SD stream. But still unsure if hiring in DA or any other cities than Dublin has started or not.

I’ve just emailed to see if I’ve moved up in the data stream and by how much, but again don’t know if that’s just other people who got offered SD roles and placed higher than me are just getting removed or if the DA panel is actually moving.

I just asked for my current position on the panel. But I think it’ll be more helpful if you ask them to specify your position overall and in each city you’ve applied for. It will give you a clearer picture.

I emailed around 29th and didn’t hear back so I thought it’s probably because of the holiday season. I decided to email them again last Monday and they replied a week later which was this Tuesday. So you can maybe try it again.

Also, Is there anyone who knows how many people will be hired for these locations?

I emailed them and asked my position for limerick and castlebar for the software development panel and they got back to me and gave my current position for both.
they said they have hired in both these locations and didn’t say if there were any more positions coming up just that the panel expires on December.

I got an update a couple weeks ago about my progression on the data panel, will probably email again before summer just to see if there’s any movement on the panel as it does indeed seem like it’s just the other panels moving

Hi all,

This might be a little bit of a silly question and maybe I am overthinking it. Do I need to print the forms from rfts and fill them out by hand and scan them in, or can I complete these forms with acrobat/docusign and upload them directly and print the required ones to send off? :)

I haven’t done the offer letter with this particular revenue job but for another I did the whole print out and fill in by hand and then scan in after. Either way you do it I reckon is fine and if there’s any issues they may just ask you to redo. Just my two cents
