So am I the only one left to do my interiew? I went for DA, my interview is tomorrow …im currently knee deep in STAR. Surely the interviews are concluding soon?

I don’t know but I did mine late September, I think if I can remember right, they’re doing it by surname alphabetical order if you’re like the last few first letter of the alphabet order then yeah I’lll assume the interviews is almost over.

My Sir name begins with a 'C' so I'm guessing they have another way of doing things… 😊in any case ill have the shortest wait at the other side. fingers crossed we all make it to the panel.

I saw on their schedule while being interviewed they do 4 a day so they must be interviewing at least 100 people over 4 weeks for what I assume can be max 10 DA positions. There are so many people getting DA qualifications now and apparently the job market is poor in that area at the moment.

Will be quite the feat if you get a job out of this. I've over 20 years experience in ICT, multinationals and civil service and plenty of quals and found this my hardest interview ever for a job starting at 40k!

My surname starts with F by the way and interview was Friday, so the surname thing isn't likely to be how they're ordering us.

When I was waiting for my interview somebody else was waiting - so they were either very early (despite us being told not to be more than 15 mins early lol) or there was multiple panels / multiple interviews taking place at once.

I kind of regret taking out software development as my second choice as I do have ton of development experience through qualification but I wasn’t very familiar with frameworks so I thought maybe I won’t be able to tackle the interview. Have I know before it was more of STAR based I could have done it too. But well I kept my options very limited and this is my first experience so if I get the opportunity well and good if not I’ll just learn from the experience. I have an engineering degree with lots of Machine learning and programming experience.
and even if they are interviewing 5 people per day that will be around 80-90 people. So you are right at most it will be 10 DA places and now I think selecting SD would have given me better chance of placement even if it meant not meeting all competences

So you felt there weren't enough technical questions asked to have excluded software development? I have my interview on wednesday and almost regret having added DA 😂

when I was waiting for mine there was 2 others waiting. They were both gone when I returned and from what I’ve heard revenue are nearly constantly hiring/rehiring due to the sheer size of the department. I assume it was other job offers.

I just had an interview (private sector)… now as much as it stressed me out before/during/after 😅 the prep I had done for this comp came in so handy for the questions I was being asked today. Was able to draw on examples I'd prepared etc

Has anyone heard when they intend to release the interview results? Or are they still interviewing?

I done mine today and they said it would be mid to late November by the time results would be released. If successfully chosen from the panel, it would realistically be the new year as there would be garda vetting and other processes is what I was told.

Jasus another 4 or 5 weeks possibly before results. I've not given myself any hope but I'd like to be put out of my misery ASAP!

I was on a panel once hiring ICT EOs and we pretty much had them all ranked after the last interviews so I'm not sure what the hold up here is.

they told me there is still next week of interviews and the result will be by the end of Nov most probably.

yeah I know 😭 they are still interviewing going in to next week which will be 4th week probably. So after 3-4 weeks from that they will announce panels.
