I wonder how there's no fuss made of Turkey's invasion of Cyprus like there is over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Today I wondered if everyone in a corporate job gets to a point that they can't do it any more.

I’m very close at the moment. Had my fill of corporate buzzword bingo and people talking as if what we they do is changing the world when it’s mundane and not really that important. If I hear another “senior leader” tell me how “excited” they are about the “journey” we as “a family” are on, I’ll gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon. It’s a delusional, poisonous environment like most MNC jobs.

But it affords me a bloody good life. I’ve sold my soul for something I don’t believe in and actively despise.

So I guess I’m the problem.

Their parents are drug addicts and alkies which obviously plays hell with their DNA. A lot of them are born with drug addiction or foetal alcohol syndrome. Probably a certain amount of inbreeding and incest as well.
