Like how long would your back hair get if you let it grow.

    Hair growing on your back?

Were you out and about last full moon?

Not long if your doctor tells you you only have six months to live.

Do you normally trim your back hair? It doesn't grow beyond a couple of centimeters normally

I wonder about my elderly neighbour and how he keeps so well and active.

no mobility aid, walks super fast as in genuinely power walks, still drives, still plays golf, flys to Australia every year to see his daughter.. he doesn’t at all visually age, I met and spoke with him two weeks ago by chance … relaxed, trim, tanned, cognitively sharp. Basically looks about 62 but he’s in his early 80’s…You’d figure him for a lad who is only approaching retirement ….

Why hasn't the boards community asked Conor McGregor for a digout. This place talk's about him more than anywhere else except the voices in Conors own head.

Does it? Last thread I remember on him was over a month ago?

I imagine he'd decline after the last "where do you see Conor in 10 years" thread ended up a 50/50 split between prison and dead

But the truth is he'll be happy out somewhere nice living his best life and if you don't want to think about him you won't have to.

I always wondered why people deal in threads not posts, at least 20 posts on that guy today alone.

When will Ireland be back again in football it's been a long time getting hammered by teams we used to beat

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 404 ✭✭watchclocker

Do the younger generation have the same hope and naive optimism for Ireland than us older folk who've seen them at their peak do

Actually did wonder that out loud earlier

I wonder why do some posters just argue with others on multiple threads. Seems like they will argue black is white. Same names cropping up the whole time. It’s not deliberate trolling either.

Loads of things all the time.

People who live on takeaways, saying they do so at least 4 nights a week, how are they not sick? Their stomach must be in a terrible state.

What happens to random things that are on the news, and then disappear.

How did this flat earth bollox gain traction? We've known for a couple of thousand years that the earth is round but gobshites get believed quicker than educated people by other gobshites.

The fact they use satellite phones to spread their stupidity compounds their stupidity.

I’ve often wondered about people who marry or use others purely for money. Do they not believe in karma??

At the very least, I think karma comes back doubled but in cases like this, you are gonna get way more than you bargained for. Imagine someone divorces after a few years and walks away with 10million. Yippee... until - 10million multiplied by karma!

You could end up losing everything you schemed to get. Maybe you get sued and can't afford the full fee's. Or your mansion burns to the ground. Or worse - you end up with an incurable illness that "your" money can’t even fix.

And beyond that, the thought of sharing your time, and your bed, with someone you don’t even care about is soul-crushing. Imagine having kids for them (as part of the con) and seeing that person’s face echoed in them every single day.

All of that big life master plan, just so karma can one day come back and punch you in the guts. No thanks.

    ....…

I used to think about Karma, then I remembered Pol Pot died of old age.

Always wonder why people buy used footwear. Maybe clothing is not that hard to understand with the focus on sustainability and reducing waste - at least clothing can be washed before it’s worn - but used footwear, just ick 🤢

Why the vast majority of humans on Earth believe in some sort of god despite zero evidence, mostly because their parents told them its true.

They rightly catch on to the tooth fairy, Easter bunny and Santa etc, but decide they are going to stick with the god one.

When did targeting individual politicians in Ireland become a thing ..they want to kick their head in or smash their face in or worse, ugly vicious, politicians were always disliked, but never like this, have we imported it from America? my other half reconds its mental health but there can't be a new forms of mental health so must be something else?

How do houses know they are vacant.

Like you'd see vacant houses become overgrown with ivy and the likes but if someone was living there would they be actively keeping the facade tidy? I don't think so.
